Ah joy...another innocent main board thread devolves into another WA d*ck measuring contest.

We get it, you hate each other...move on
We don't have anything to comparatively measure, we haven't ever won anything! 🤣

Perhaps you could conduct some research into the disparity in regard to the manner in which the two clubs were established. It's not an excuse for Fremantle's last ten years of limited success, but it certainly provides some insight into the concessions and financial backing differential between the two establishments. That would require some research and study on your part though, and I doubt you have the cognitive capacity to undertake such a task.

You actually looked up the Eagles start up or do you just stop at "they got gifted a state team!" like the rest?
If you had actually applied any 'cognitive capacity' you would know it wasn't the smooth sailing that gets claimed

Just remember, when things seem bad, think about Cuz, Kerr etc and what these ********s are up to and it will bring a smile to ya
When recently questioned in regard to the irreconcilable damage his alleged stalking and aggravated texts had caused his relationship with his ex-wife, Kerr responded with something resembling, "I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get her to fall back in love with me now."

Oh booooy

Hold on there, aren't you forgetting this:

2015 - McClelland Trophy

And never forget it. I never will.

I do believe that the McClelland Trophy is far more prestigious than the premiership. It proves your superiority over many more weeks than a finals series, where teams can just fluke a few wins and than fall over the line at a "neutral" ground.

Talk about a lack of research and study on the part of somebody.

WC were left to build a team of WAFL rejects after the VFL clubs had come over and told all the youngsters that the WCE would not be entering a team as it required them (the clubs) to vote for it and they weren't going to. Signed them up, then voted for entry to grab the entry fee (and a bailout for Fitzroy), then did everything to send WC bankrupt (more later). Because of the late approval, WC only had 160 days to build a team. Freo had years.
WC could sign a max of 1 player (ex WA) per VFL club. They managed to get 3, 1 of whom was coming home anyway and 2 who managed a combined game total of 1.
The WAFL didn't want them to ruin their competition so they made it difficult to train, meaning WC had to use Kitchener Park and a gym they installed in the carpark.
They were given deliberately bad travel schedules (3 away games before finals, then every final in Vic regardless of ladder position) and lack of earned home finals (something Freo didn't suffer from comparatively).

Financially they were absolutely screwed by the VFL. WC had to pay all their own travel and accommodation charges when they played away. AND they had to pay for the travel and accommodation of every visiting team as well. This pretty well sent the team bankrupt in 1989 (so much for your financial assertion) and the club nearly folded. See https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-15/west-coast-eagles-analysis/10900458 for more. A few quotes from this at the end. Freo never had any of this.

Freo were not gifted a beginning either, but the concession assertion is stupid. If you want to talk concessions look at GCS and GWS.

From the ABC
"What was happening was, clubs like Footscray and Fitzroy were technically broke and my understanding is that Ross Oakley got Fitzroy's vote by agreeing to give them $600,000, which would keep them afloat for the next year,"

The final vote was pushed back until October 1986, but in the meantime the Victorian clubs took the opportunity to plunder the West Australian Football League ahead of the potential inclusion of West Coast in 1987.

Players like Nicky Winmar, Michael Christian and Craig Starcevich all found homes on the eastern seaboard before the new Perth-based club had a chance to recruit them.

The Eagles weren't allowed to train at Subiaco Oval, where they played their home games, or at any WAFL grounds.

The Victorians didn't roll out the welcome mat either. Sprinklers were left on overnight before West Coast training sessions in Melbourne and cold showers in the changerooms were common.

West Coast was forced to pay for the Melbourne clubs' travel costs when they came to Perth. The draw was tough, on one occasion the Eagles played three times in six days on either side of the country, and the club's squad was restricted to 17 fewer players than other sides.

After three seasons the Eagles had lost around $13 million, were broke and on life support.

And there's your absolute pile of rubbish 'oh WC had it sooo easy compared to poor Freo' bull**** put into perspective. Comparatively, Freo had the dream start when you look at he manner of how the two clubs were established.

The only thing stopping Collingwood is if a random virus spreads through the team making it untenable.

Not at all, actually. In fact, I'm decidedly positive and respectful. Well done on cherry-picking a singular quote from a thread that doesn't even feature on your boards though. Let's not let the truth that your boards, feature an entire thread devoted to jokes about the Fremantle Dockers get in the way of your holy than thou crusade though. Lol.
