well thats assuming the literal exact sides play, which has (somehow) never ever happened.I believe as posted before on BF that 2011 Geelong was the oldest most experienced premiership winner since WW2 @ average 27y3m and 145games
Here's the stats from last year's GF:
Richmond Attribute Geelong 185.5cm Height 188.6cm 86.2kg Weight 89.3kg 27yr 1mth Age 28yr 4mth 133.0 Games 162.9
Neither side is any younger so for either to win this year a new record will need to be set.
Keep the injuries under control, finish top 6 and we are every chance.
However, at the moment the Dees are looking good and deserve to be favourites.
Will finish top 4, and have the burning desire, ability and belief to win it.
Your finals experience vastly outnumbers Melbourne's though, the big boys come out to play in September, will be an interesting finals season.
Hopefully COVID the campaigner doesn't interrupt massive crowds at the MCG.
Think they need to win all their games from here to be top 4 if the current teams in top 4 keep performing as they are.Richmond has won the flag 2021 mark my words same position as 2017 and 2019 will lead to the same result.
We were the first to win it from outside top 4, Adelaide finished 4th and won 4 in a row.Adelaide did it, too, in 1997
Dimma’s adjusted our game style, or I should say he’s added a new mode similar to the Cats. Over the last few weeks we’ve been working on a slow kick to mark build up to counter opposition momentum, this is a huge development this season, he’s realized to beat the Cats, Brisbane and Melbourne you have to maintain possession to halt momentum. Hopefully we fine tune this to work along side our defensive pressure blitz over the run home.
This is how I see the contenders. There are seven of them.
1. Melbourne
2. Richmond
3. Geelong
4. Brisbane
5. Bulldogs
6. West Coast
7. Port
They won't make the 8Premierships aren't won in July. They'll come good once they get a few back from injury. If you look at their last two games their form is trending up.

They’re gone. The Eagles game last month was the beginning of the end
So when do they roll out the red carpet at Punt road for the manure again?
I've never seen fans of any club jump off and turn on their own so quick after a decent dynasty than this lot.
