Clearly a case of a club turning a blind eye will eventually catch up with you. He so played for himself tonight he was terrible!Chris Scott's finals win percentage getting a bit worrisome now.
Stengle must had had a night out on the bags again. One of the worst finals performances I've seen in a long time.

They have probably eclipsed the turn of the century bombers as the biggest underachievers of the last half century or so, purely by how prolonged the affliction is now. One solitary, lone flag in almost a decade and a half of so-called ‘dominance’, top four finishes, ‘amazing winning percentage!’ and so on.
Disappointing.
Rubbish, they have finished top 4 in years they aren’t even that good, like this year. They have been maxing out their list.
Anyone who think a side which contains Stanley, Bruhn, Atkins, Bowes as pivotal to your midfield mix is some juggernaut is a bit dense.
I find it constantly remarkable and hilarious how people quote a post without addressing what’s been said in it, making it blatantly obvious they didn’t actually read or comprehend it.Rubbish, they have finished top 4 in years they aren’t even that good, like this year. All the way. Only question is how much they will win it by.
Read before last night it was - since 2007 - 12 Prelims, 6 Grand Finals, 4 Premierships.Yet another prelim loss for the cats. What the record now?
So 3-7 off the last 10?Read before last night it was - since 2007 - 12 Prelims, 6 Grand Finals, 4 Premierships.
So 6-7 now.
finals win records are slightly misleading. Finish 4th and you're likely going 1-2. Finish 5th and it's probably 1-1. Are you a better team/coach for losing the semi, or for losing the PF?The finals win record with Scott surprised me I must admit. I thought it would be higher.
I suppose though, it's partly the amount of the times the Cats have been "old and gone" and still made finals. He did extremely well to get them there so often, to be in it to win it, and hey presto, a couple flags eventuated. Though I guess the 2011 team was basically a ready-made premiership side.
Sam Mitchell had a 50% finals record in 2024 for beating 7th placed Bulldogs and losing to the 2nd placed Port Adelaide.finals win records are slightly misleading. Adding Jack Martin, Bailey Smith and Clayton Oliver.
How are they only 6th favourites for the flag? Almost unbackable I would have thought

if they're all washed up they won't cost much then hey EinsteinThey are all washed up. Idk what picks they are gonna use to get them but it’ll be pretty much all of them.
Could see Geelong suffer the same fate as Carlton at the turn of the century
3 flags, won another one with an aging list by a lopsided result after a gap and got caught with salary cap breaches 7 years later.

The land package details are way too convolutedJust the jealous wonderment of a desperate Pies supporter.
We’re never getting caught.
