Even with our off field troubles this year we are 4-0 and looking like 2 in a row is nearly a certanty. With such a young list and no real challengers coming forward do people think the mighty eagles will win 3 or 4 premierships in a row.

We won 14 straight at the beginning of 2005, and you know how that turned out.

6 years ago at this time Essendon were unbeatable and had a record for the last year and a half that makes the Eagles over the past year and a half look average.

The Eagles have had luck on their side with injuries; others have not. I disagree that there are no challengers. Trust me, it's easy to dismiss me for sour grapes, but I've sat back and watched my club rise to the top of the ladder each year only to be rocked by injury and hence have nothing become of it. Bad luck hurts, and it would hurt West Coast just as much as any other club. Don't get cocky or karma will decide it's time to tear your side to pieces. Trust me on that.
