Will West Coast win the Flag ?

No. The problem with West Coast is that they lack a winning culture. 06 Grand Final win was good, but in reality they should have won at least 05 and 07... 1 out of 3 is not the best strike rate in the world... Case Closed.

Best one I could fine that wasn't in russian.

Carlton are pretenders and the Hawks cant fluke another one (surely). So its down to Geelong, Collingwood and the Weegirls. If Westcoast can get some game time into some of their injured players before September then they are a great chance.

Everybody keeps saying how open the flag race is this season. But for mine its no more open than past years.

Yes, plenty of sides have shown the capabilities to take the scalp of a contender. But for mine, the only teams that will be able to do it week after week over the course of an entire finals series will be one of the top 5 from last year.

Eagles
Cats
Hawks
Blues
Pies

In that order for mine.

You may be under-estimating Adelaide - they'll beat Geelong this week (I know it's at AAMI, but the Cats are great). Eagles need to rise above the injuries if we are to challenge for the flag.

I'd say this - if Adelaide beat Geelong, or the Eagles down Essendon, that'll speak volumes about the prospects in 2012 for those 2 clubs. If they lose these games, you'd think Adelaide have a way to go and West Coast may need better luck with injuries for the rest of the season to be legitimate contenders in 2012.

Perhaps, but seeing my mob dispose of them without looking too crash hot a few weeks back really has me questioning their legitimacy.. No doubt at their peak they're good, just doubting their ability to perform at that level over an entire finals series.

Eagles odds are blowing out , nicnat has a serious injury and you start a troll thread like this, do your thing mods.

The best part being that you posted this without the slightest hint of irony.

Yet it's all good and well when a West Coast poster makes the same thread about Essendon. Funny how many of you posted in that other thread as if it is legitimate and fair, yet you're all up in arms when the shoe is on the other foot.

Amazing isn't it, how precious are they?

Also can't believe the OP of the Bombers thread is calling this thread a troll & asking for the mods to dump it.

Do you ever offer any discussion?

Do you not see the similarities between the OP of this thread and the other?

Sorry but it's clear to me he's taking the piss, not that there's anything wrong with that. I personally am just embarrassed by the serious responses by West Coast fans.

The great James Hird and his Bombers side who play 22 home games a year will win the flag this year. They are fed up with being a disgrace whenever they make the finals since they cheated the salary cap.

Haha, ironically, I reckon if we can do it with Lycett, Brennan and Neates in the starting 22 over the bombers, we will be! :D

Agree with that

But thats the worst line up I have seen in years from WC
Plus now that Nic Nat's not playing Essenden WILL win quite easily

Any WC supporter thinking other wise is really kidding himself

If we can somehow manage to squeeze Anton Hamp and Jeremy McGovern into the side for Darling and Lynch (who just aren't performing this season), I'd say we're pretty much a certainty for the flag.

Give Nic Nat the rest of the season off too. Doesnt get enough possessions to warrant selection.

Let's be honest Hams to Neates isn't that big of a loss. Now McGinnity takes A Selwood's job as a small lockdown player. Again a loss but could be much worse. The team is pretty much the same team as last weeks which thoroughly outplayed North. If Priddis, Kerr, S Selwood and Shuey all have big games WC will still win.
