England should win this but how they perform for the rest of the tournament no body knows. Australia should be more of a threat than we look. We have to play Lyon as our other bowling options are poor. Need to be cohesive and play as a team.
We have the batting power yet appear to be approaching the series as though it’s the 90s.

How would Australia go if only Aborigines played .
That’s not how it works buddy. You see, we have millions of people who are not Aboriginal, however are born here that are eligible to play cricket for Australia. Why do you feel so uncomfortable answering the questions I posed? I was genuinely curious to see your response.

For the record, an all Aboriginal XI would be pretty handy. Send one over to England last year and toweled up most the counties they played.

Saffers have been quite underwhelming apart from their fielding. It's bad luck with Amla retiring hurt yes. Apart from that with the bat, 3 of the 4 catches have been unnecessary sky balls plus a needless run out.

The South African batsmen will be pretty disappointed thus far, and it would take a miracle to be anything but a disappointing chase. Du Plussis, De Kock and Duminy all rash shots that were totally unnecessary, especially Duminy. At least the first two were the type of shots that can get you a boundary if you get a hold of it... Duminy was literally catching practice. The required run rate was well within reach and the batsmen were hardly overextending themselves.

Even with the marked increase in run scoring in ODI's in the last decade, I think there is still a little bit of a mental barrier when the chase goes above 300, and that is how South Africa are batting.

Their batting is absolute rubbish bar De Kock and Du Plessis...

Somehow Duminy is picked every game

It isnt state of origin . I have no idea about whether England and Wales born players would be any good to answer your question . I do know a lot of immigrants in Australia who support Australia . Its all irrelevant . Dont stress yourself . Australia were #1 for years . Poms were crap. Roles have reversed with Aussies building again .

I'll give Amla a pass too. Cool experienced head and has made enough runs in ODI cricket this year.

He’d get a pass yes. Record is fantastic.

Not saying he’d change his mind but I wonder whether enough was done to ask ABDV to come back for a last hurrah

All Englands Wickets bar the 1st were similar , unnecessary shots .
