Most English don't even know cricket exists until they're a chance to win something.
Can't fault the English fans for their loyalty and passion.

But the ECB decision to put cricket behind a paywall about a decade ago has seriously hurt grassroots cricket in England. The rusted-on fans are loving this cup but the general public feeling to the world cup over here could be best described as apathetic. There will be a natural lift on Sunday with the final. It's disappointing because there should be a good buzz about (something akin to Sydney 2000 or the RWC 2003), but there isn't really and the ECB is at fault for that.

Unfortunately CA followed the same path, and it will hurt our grassroots, which already is hurting from everything I've being told from mates back home.

In Sydney, many local comps have halved in team numbers over the last 15 or so years, and I know of at least two junior clubs (just in the same district, so there will be others in Sydney) which have existed for over 80 years that have either folded, or on the verge.

Also bowling too fast to get any swing guess who was amazing in England.... Glen McGrath 130km/h bowled line and length.... it seriously cant be that hard to train a guy to do that

What is cheating though?
Com'on, really? Thats where your moral compass wants to take this? I understand the disappointment of the last 12 months but I'm not even going to try and excuse certain behaviour as other countries have done. Get the garbage OUT OF THE GAME. We have made a stance and I love it regardless of how others have responded or not.

You are kidding right? You would prefer to promote cheating than do what's right?
Our junior coach back in the day (the ump would give the folding coach the ball before we ran out) would take to the ball with a knife and open the seam right up, not sure what good it did but he loved it.
