Did a hop of bus tour thing in London .
We meant to get off .didn't really know.
Then we noticed the the streets looking a bit dodgy.
Walked down stairs the bus driver WTF you still on here...
I can't left you off in this area....LoL..
Dropped us off at the closet under ground.

Perth Williams street and Mall area .
Divvy van was there every day.
Seen quiet a few fights.

Smithton Tas.
Some locals had a go at me , I was only miding my own business.
Then another car of hoods showed up.
I stood up to them and left.
Next day we were doing the tarkine drive.
Heard on the radio the drug problem in Smithton ...lol.

Every city every state has dodge spots.

Seen some bad ones in America.

Went for a walk a few blocks off the Strip in Vegas to see a guy with no shirt on getting arrested, it was a good sign to turn around and walk back the way I came from.

Bus from Nashville to Memphis stopped off at a place called Jackson for a 30 minute break, I stepped off the bus and went back on.

I never felt safe walking around Louisville or Memphis.

I was in Kansas City, Missouri with my brother to sample various barbecue restaurants. We decided to walk from our hotel to dinner one night, but went a couple of blocks too far.

I had a weird feeling the entire time I was there, The only time I went out a night was when I went to a concert.

Have heard a lot of Americans say the same thing about that part of the country.

Spent a few nights in St Louis, not going back there in a hurry, had a pretty decent shock.

Didn't get robbed bashed or even in a fight. Walked down the wrong street and was told in no uncertain terms to turn around walk straight back the other way by a very intimidating gentleman.

I spent one night in St.Louis after Kansas City. Getting ready to walk to concert venue from the hotel and an old couple are talking to a Lady who works for the hotel and the couple mention they are going for a walk to find something to eat.

Lady tells them to take a taxi and don't walk and they start walking out of the hotel and she starts begging them to take a taxi because of how dangerous it is.

Lucky for me that night there were 2 concerts on, so the streets were filled with concert goers.

In Melbourne, the Werribee 'Birdcage' - a series of streets which all have bird names - is a scary place. It isn't far from the Werribee Railway Station, another place scary enough by day. I wouldn't ever want to go there at night.

In some Australian cities, it isn't far from nice streets with well-kept suburban houses, shops, cafes, restaurants and the like to find yourself in a bad area. For example, I love Sydney city, but its only a short walk south to a really bad area surrounded by Redfern, Surry Hills, Chippendale and Waterloo.

Brisbane is a beautiful city and I mostly feel safe there, but some streets in Fortitude Valley made me feel very uneasy even though it is on the edge of the CBD. Adelaide's southern beachside suburbs are stunning but take one wrong turn then another and another heading away from the ocean, and you might find yourself in a rough area very quickly. In Perth, the large suburb of Bentley in the inner southern suburbs has some nice areas and is a major educational, administrative and business center but there are some blocks of streets that it is wise to avoid or move through as soon as possible.

They're a world away from each other, but the 2 worst, unsafest places I've ever been to?

Pretoria is the closest I've ever come to being shot.
Tennant Creek is the closest I've ever come to being stabbed.

I wandered pissed into a part of Cape Town I had no business being in one night and the inevitable happened, fortunately I wasn't hurt and the money I was relieved of was part of the price of an education.

I love to travel but Africa is a part of the world I'll probably never go to.

I've heard enough horror stories from people who have been to South Africa and Nigeria.

In my opinion no country is worth it if you are not allowed to leave your hotel at night or you have to pay locals to protect you everywhere you go.

Been to South Africa twice and both times drove from Cape Town to Kruger National Park and never ever did I feel unsafe.

Actually taking a piss on the side of the road in Kruger and our car being chased by an elephant felt a bit unsafe, but that wasn’t because of people.

We never stopped in Johannesburg, under advice, and if we were out at night in Cape Town we would get Ubers, also under advice.

For me it is one of the most memorable and most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and I’ve been to more than my fair share of places.

I would recommend South Africa to anyone and everyone. So much to do and see in that spectacular country.

Only other African countries I’ve been to are Swaziland, Morocco and Tunisia and again I never felt unsafe.

I know Africa can be dangerous and there’s certain countries I wouldn’t travel too but South Africa is a place I can’t wait to return too, once my son is a little older.
