i know there is 1 aim at d/p and that is to be back in 1st div in three years.........lookout for the lions so to speak.......also no players are leaving d/p except the ones that have retired........4 or 5 have off the grapevine........

a few disgruntled albion boys having talks as we speak.......
You blokes had a team back in 18s this year, will any of those kids that may go up be capable of playing seniors ?Good effort for the club to get 18s happening again when you consider how close neighboring clubs are.All with u18 teams.

dont mean 2 butt in, but the seniors palyed quite a handful of u18's this year with sucess. there b at least 2 or 3 straight inclusions in the 1's unless there some really good talent being recruited 2 take their spots n another 3 on the cusp of playin seniors each week.

:cool:Just heard from reliable source that up to 15 players leaving Albion after appointment of Savalas as new coach. With the McGoldrick, Madigan regime some definitely going to Deer Park after enjoying their footy under McGoldrick's coaching and playing with Madigan in Div.1. In fact believe Luke Summers will be assistant coach. If its true and all D/P players stay from last year surely the Lions will prove hard to beat in 2008.

Mundine is tats better known as pea heart.

[Good guess mate, pea hart ay "i love it". pea hart plays in a team, averages 25 disposals, 7 clearances, 15 inside 50's fo a pea hart. One word tats will be back at a new club fitter and better. Oh yer u have to remember ive only played footy for 2 years. Truth hurts, i mean Tony delaney, i mean bobby skilton, i mean all the other names u may have. Dont have any hard feelings when tats runs out on glengala road in the opposition side. For me i live on criticsm, how many players have u picked up TD, still not paying players ;), we will not go into this conversation any further. Truth Hurts it was a good year last year just get over it, look ahead and dont hold grudges. Good luck anyway for next year, i hope the boys do well, make sure u keep the triathlon happening ]

If players went to Div 2, they would be asking for a bit in their pocket.
I am led to believe a few were heading out of Deer Park with the old coach, until they priced themselves out of a move. Which leds me to the next question. How big is Deer Parks budget for season 08?

Perhaps some of these players weren't on any big money at Albion and are pretty peeved off with the recent decisions there? Have no idea about D/P budget. Maybe weapons can enlighten us?

Would be hard to believe summers leaving as he was co vice captain last year and if true albion lost coach, captain and vice captain and preaseason has only just begun this week.... do you know of any other names of albion blokes in talks down there at d/p??? i know of a few i have spoken to recently who have hinted on heading down there.

So wrong there about Tony Delaney. Truth hurts is just a follower of football that knows a pea heart when he sees one. I also know from an associate that TD wont be seen again on big footy and also that he is a big fan of yours. Don't understand why though. So keep guessing little boy. Oh by the way what sort pf player counts his stats.

Have heard Albion only had 16 turn up for training on first night. Also a lot of the blokes from there have a lot of respect for Goldie, don't know what players have committed as yet as only early days.

Tats. For the record I am no longer involved in div 2 big footy in any shape or form. Truth hurts is someone I have my suspicions who and I think if you look back he has been into me during the year also.

For what it's worth I loved having all of you at Heights and you are more than welcome anytime. I am still hopeful that you all stay as there are not many clubs like ours. If you do leave you know full well there will be no hard feelings at all as you have made some good friends at Heights.

In short don't jump to conclusions with every dill thats on big footy relating it to me. I don't have the time or energy or desire with any such carry on.

If you want me to relay my suspicions pm me. Cheers

The Sunshine Heights guy Ben Foley (born in 1983) might be the same bloke on Sunshine's books who plays in the VFL for Williamstown.

Not sure if this is the same guy, i thought he was older than the 83 birth year. Ben Foley, has signed at Sunshine YC as playing assistant coach for 08. At Sunshine full time instaed of just a couple of games a year like it has for the last two years.

Not sure if you guys know but anyone can nominate for the draft. If you are registered with footballvic and football in othre states you can register.
Can download the forms off football vic website if you want to nominate for next year.

Whats happenin at clubs and what are player movements.
Anything going on or a little too early to tell.
Heard braybrook loking to get a few of the aboriginal footballers back and establish their links again but who knows.

the 25 touches are in second division......the 7 inside 50's per game in second division.......and whatever other stats he put down is an absolute joke..........

6 or 7 played in our firsts at various stages.........2 or 3 played in the finals........thats the key 18's you need to survive any club........its good that we had them now we have to hold onto them.......

I have family members who are on Albions committee. I can confirm that at least 7-8 players who were in Albions Seniors in 07 are definently going to Deer Park to follow McGoldrick. Apart from these 8 im sure Deer Park will now
pick up more.

Deer Park will rocket into the Top 2 next season
