Look Steve Smith might be a reason for Aussies to go on and win this

But you have to admit , he is the least eyecatching batsman in world cricket to bat at the moment.

I believe that the Australian team should play with bit of flair , aggressieness . Thats what the world associates us with.

I dont know how many balls Smith needs to have a look at before he plays a few nice shots off every over.
Please, please go away and never come back. Take up intravenous heroin, or glue, or ice, whatever, just never come back.

I reckon you might be posting in the wrong thread if you’re looking for sympathetic ears mate.

It is okay, if you don't get test cricket just say it.

They are bowling a line trying to tempt him in to a shot, he is being patient and waiting for them to slip up. He punished both bad balls last over. What you are asking is for him to throw his wicket away.

I have found Smudge one of my favourites all time to watch.
To me test cricket is all mind games. In batting and bowling. He frustrates the bowlers into breaking from their plan

Another reason why Smith should be attacking now, is the ball is getting old. Runs will be alot harder with the new ball in the 80th over.
But heads doing it fine up the other end...this partnership has been very very good NYRB

I agree dude that he is not as fluent as in the past from smudge...but this is gold atm..wearing down the Indians and head going on nicely

these two have set the platform for greenie and Carey

He had an innings against England in Australia where i remember people losing it over how slow he was scoring.

England bowled the most tame and embarrassing lines from ball 1. They bowled almost 0 wicket taking deliveries. The only way they were ever going to get him out was if he got himself out. To have the mental toughness to just wait is an incredible and underrated skill.

Yeah, they bowled ten consecutive

Not all were between shoulder and head height and I’d rather them err on the bowlers side anyway it’s nit dangerous with helmets
