Continued in Part 5:

"Are the new variants responsive to existing vaccines. How widespread are they. ... "

And on and on and on.

Right now the situation is MORE volatile than ever. Pretending we've got a handle on it is stupid while it is ripping through India/Asia.

Too many open questions IMO. And everyone should have very little faith in Smirko to either answer them or get out of the way of people answering them.

Vaccination. Numbers in W.A are dropping off very badly too. Id expect us to hit lower then 60% of those eligible gettung the vaccine

Ha ha, yeah sorry, could have been clearer. The jab. Pretty painless - vaccine done in 10 minutes, 15 minutes observation.

Only disappointing part of whole experience is that the Bill Gates microchip isn't making Word or Outlook any less crappy.

It’s total vaccination numbers.

It is but im talking about slow uptake from the general public. These numbers are merely people getting the injections to continue there jobs. Alot of those 1000 are from clinics around the northern suburbs coming in since the clinic near Joondalup opened. The book by appts slots for members of the public are essentially waiting to be filled is what im saying

Do you have a breakdown on those numbers?

I have a rough idea from what people have told me at Joondalup. On a weekday its about a 85/15% split. This weeks increase comes from the more vaccine sites opening and more companies now able to send people for the jab during work hours. Apart from Saturday not many general public people are rocking up in any other days is the issue.

Most people reckon it will be 55% uptake ive spoken too in the medical profession over here in W.A. In saying this I expect W.A to have the lowest numbers Aus wide

Essentially confirmation that borders and lockdowns will never end with stats like this from the US

People who rattled on about herd immunity ( ie we've all caught it , and those who were going to die of it have already , and the rest of have already had it so won't catch it again so easily ) , should understand that immunisation with 90% protection is effectively stopping the spread.

On average a person with Covid gives it to 2-3 others. That causes it to spread.
If all of those others had been vaccinated , probably none, but worst case 1 catches it. That's not going to give you exponential growth.
If 2/3 of the population don't get vaccinated its obviously not doing enough.

Those people are our politicians. The ultimate decision makers im afraid. You are discussing a goal Mark McGowan hasnt set

Mark wants 0 community spread. Current vaccine options rule this out as a possibility to achieve. We are likely going to have to wait for a better vaccine then Pfizer and AZ have produced to get back to full normality. Hopefully its sooner rather then later

With the numbers coming out, once W.A is 100% vaccinated, we wont be making any changes I think. Status quo will stay the same until a later date

So you don’t have the numbers, you’re going on “what people have told you”. The actual numbers contradict you. Stop making stuff up.

Ill take the word of the nurses myself over well your random opinion
It’s not my opinion. It’s the official figures. You’re taking a lot of air swings in here. You tried in on and you got called out. Deal with it.

Time for you to take a deep breath and have a think about things.

I said I worded it incorrectly? Im talking general public booking, not the full figures. My bad etc

Vaccination was never about zero and the Australian government are a ****ing disgrace if that’s the bar we are setting to go back to normality.

The idea that this vaccine was going to come along and eradicate Covid has always been absurd.

The Federal Government’s target is re-election. Expect tough talk up until the election later this year and, if they win, a sudden easing after that.

And this is just so wrong. the media should be calling them out on this.
How DARE they. Seriously, you are surprised by this?

Relax...no one, especially the the federal government wants borders to remain closed any longer than they need to be. If (and that’s a big if) the rest of the world re opens successfully and we refuse the government will get crucified. Particularly by its own cheerleaders in the media, the Murdoch press.
