How are people finding the $7 'ads' tier?

I haven't signed up yet...

But remember all those match preview videos that we were lucky enough to see, but Cole would always tell us were for premium Peacock subscribers?

I don't know if I'm going to be able to deal with that, and I'm a bit bummed out that Royal Rumble is going to be our first experience of it.

Had it for a few months for other stuff, but personally have no issue with it.

YouTube/FTA streaming is far far worse.

I'm not paying for those though!

Did you watch the fight a few weeks ago? I'm curious whether there was any differentiation between between subscription tiers, and what capability Netflix even has to do it in the way that Peacock did.

Would like for them to start adding shows from other promotions in the WWE library. I've never seen the Flair-Steamboat trilogy and have heard it's about as good as it gets.

I miss the Network. When my first kid was born I'd sit up at night and just have old 96, 97, 98 Raws running in the background. Disappointed to open Netflix and see that their 90's Raws only have like 16 episodes from each year.

Seems insane that there's so much content that was digitised and cleaned up for Network just sitting around unused somewhere.

For me the one huge positive is the shows actually have subtitles, which will probably take them a fair bit of time to add in to the old shows that have never have them.

They had subtitles on Foxtel, not that I used it much. Wish we could get the old WCW Saturday Night episodes with Dusty on commentary where the subtitles struggled to keep up. “Gettin’ funky like a monkey on the Mutha-Ship”

There's increasingly some fun stuff free on youtube.

Tonight and last night I've watched last year's Rumble matches on the "Playback" feature they do, with commentary from various wrestlers.

A lot of it is really dull and boring, but man there's some really funny stuff in there. Drew is hilarious; Bayley's interview was also gatecrashed by Kevin Owens. "You know what you should've done there, you should've thrown her out... by the way, I've never won a Royal Rumble match." "Ugh, I actually won this one, so..." :D

these are the videos, in case others missed it.

not sure what you mean by random? the intention was always to have all those WWE PPVs on there

I hadn't heard much confidence that PPVs that old were going to be on there. And these random old shows have only started showing up in my suggestions today. Although maybe that has something to do with giving Royal Rumble a double thumbs up yesterday.

WWF/WWE ppvs was never the issue, that's what they bought the access for. it's the WCW and ECW (not including WWE's version of ECW here), not to mention other territories that is the sticking point for the hardcore fans.

Am watching the 1992 Royal Rumble now, fair lineup

I'm trying to rewatch yesterday, and the Netflix quality is the worst I've seen it in the month that I've had it

Most of the PPVs I've searched for are there, but there's still a few that seem they are being drip fed on. I searched for One Night Stand, and they're not available until March. Yet December to Dismember was there immediately...
