Im not just saying it because he is kicking poorly today, and no doubt the guy is a star, but as soon as he gets the ball within 60 he turns the blinkers on.

QFT. As per usual all Hawthorn supporters can come back with is 'you wish you had him'. NO ####ING SHIT WE DO!

That is not the point. He is a remarkable talent and yes all players have days when they don't kick well for goal. I don't have a problem with his innacuracy so much as I have a problem with him turning his back on the play completely when he marks 60 out on the boundary line rather than at least turning round and looking for other options as he backs back. Not asking much.

As good as he is he has so much more ability to bring his team mates into the game better rather than feeling the need to do it all himself all the time. Hawthorn will be better for it when he does.

I still thought he played a good game even though he kicked 1.7 he will learn from that maybe he leads to wide sometimes but most of his misses were from set shots were he had the right to have a go.

lol how about the fact that statistically he is in front of so many 'greats' at the same age? I think he only one he was slightly behind is richo. Had reiwoldt, brown, pav, even carey covered.

If you don't think he's a great player, something is wrong with you. The flip side is one average game doesn't make him an average player. 8 shots on goal, just didn't have his kicking boots on. Fortunately our team has the depth to cover that

i think you're forgetting the fact that they are greats of the game because they played the highest quality footy over at least 5 years+.. buddy has the potential to be on the verge of greatness, and if he holds this form over the coming years will be, but he aint there yet...

That article was garbage, it stated that Buddy was the second best 'Roaming' Forward because he averaged the most goals at 21 of any other 'roaming' forward bar richo. However, Buddy is much more of a full forward than those he was compared to, such as Whitnall and Riewoldt. Pav hadn't spent all his time up forward at this stage either. Having said that he's still going awesomely, just think that was a garbage article
