Should I keep going??

Makes me wonder how we won two flags with the guts of that backline.

I'd suggest you suffer from the most common disease in all footyland ... North Melbournus Underratus.

You are also ignoring the fact that I specifically said the backline as named would be altered to meet situations. Thus your projections are doubly wrong.

FFS - King on Riewoldt?

And you don't think Byron Pickett would have massively exploited Stephen Milne?

And Martyn certainly held his own against Lockett. Destroyed Ablett Snr on a number of occassions ... notably the 94 Prelim.

This is just taking a few examples.

Its also a team sport - Lockett had a good day against us in the 96 GF. Kicked six.

And Sydney lost.

I'd be interested to see how you think those various defence4s would go against our forward line.

Although I suspect I know.

Andrew Dunkley would have held Carey. Tadgh Kennelly would destroy Shagga Grant. Leo Barry would take McKernan to the cleaners etc etc.

I'm not in this for a dick waving contest. As I said in my initial post, I'll happily concede that some teams would be better in some positions, maybe overall.

But in all seriouslyness, ****ing David King on Riewoldt?

EDITED TO ADD - Jesus wept man, I've just studied your post in greater detail.

The only possible explanation I can come up with is that you are hoping to get a rise out of me because of all the shite I've given Sydney over the years.

Honestly, Byron Pickett won the Rising Star playing as defender in a side that only missed a flag through poor kicking in the GF.

And you honestly think he couldn't beat Darren bloody Bewick? Or Craig McRae ... or even more LOLworthy ... Brad Pearce/Eddie Betts/Matty Lappin?

Christ on a bike. Eddie Betts.

Byron Pickett, Rising Star winner, two time premiership player, Norm Smith medallist, bested by Eddie ****ing Betts.

Come on mate, I'm up for a good chat here, but let's be serious now.
