The last time we were in premiership contention, a drugged-up Essendon team came out hard and broke Marc Murphy's Andrew Carrazzo's shoulder. That more or less ended our season.

I think it's time we re-paid that favour. Let's bury them and march on to finals. Let them remember their 150th birthday with a shudder of horror for the next 50 years.

Not really before or after that I can recall.

Yeah I don’t remember winning before the bye or after the bye

I also don’t remember winning in Round 1 or in Round 23

I do remember winning in New Zealand though and I do remember winning a game in September once (back in 2020 thanks to COVID delays)

A must win game that club is full of
OGC.aad6f0f277dd7d900c3c47329d222ec3
scumbag, cheating campaigners who never accept responsibility for what they did during the * saga and they all just lap up the kool-aid and believe everything that the sycophant media tell them.

We must destroy all of their joy in their 150th celebration and keep them down the bottom

Hutchy (yes I know) reporting that Cripps and Walsh are in doubt for Friday, and Harry has had a minor setback.
I'm not surprised Cripps might be injured, but Walsh is surprising.

Having said that, the least surprising part of this would be Hutchy being on the windup.

Lewis to play more man on man, tight defending in the contest with Durdin to be instructed to come off and float across the front of packs I reckon.

On that note, Sam Durdin will certainly play. McKay in would be massive if he is healthy, would really struggle to see how we lose with McKay in.
I reckon vice versa
But the concept is a good one

Would have been more believable if it was supposed to be someone else saying it, but when was the last time Hutchy broke news midweek on the radio?

Wasnt it Carazzo's shoulder ??

Think peeling off is both their strengths. However, given Durdin is having to learn our system I'd rather he play the more lockdown/tighter role and allow Lewis to play with more freedom (or give Lewis the discretion about how to do it).

Either way, we'll need a lot of leadership and direction from Doch and the other older heads to provide that vocal guidance without Weiters there.
