The trade between yourselves and wce last year where u guys moved up 2 picks in return for this years second round pick...at the time did you guys like the trade and, if you guys miss finals do you guys still like that trade?

Curious to hear your thoughts on that trade
We were desperate to get Josh Sinn. We've seen next to nothing from him this year due to injury to be able to justify that decision, and he played precious little footy the past two years for us to be any better informed. I'm not convinced it was the right decision. We've made some good decisions at the draft table in recent years, but haven't nailed all of them, especially when targeting injury prone players. We have recruited three big bodied, athletic utility types in Sinn, Bergman and Jones. They could be flankers, wingers or inside mids. We desperately need all three to become A-graders and not bit part players.

Yes, next Saturday afternoon 5AA special comments.

Between Royal Adelaide practice, watching the British open, 5AA commentary and the Port podcast, when do you expect him to rehab, train let alone play

Is it a coincidence that Farrell played his worse game in a while when Bonner came back? I dunno what Kane's stats are with and without Bonner but i feel Bonner is getting Farrells possessions. Maybe Kane gets forced into a more high HFF role when Riley is in compared to a more traditional wing role when he is out? Maybe better minds can answer if I'm on the right track with that thought?

You mean brilliant minds?

27 games left of this…
The club needs a massive football overhaul. Won’t come this year..

Rozee good again, butchered it more that usual but still showing he is a real gun off the comp.
Boak, one of his best got the year
Bergman, literally could be anything.. future captain
SPP, make those shots, we win
Charlie, I don’t mind him in the ruck, up against it today but I don’t mind him around the ball.

We learned nothing from our first meeting this year, the same slow play chippy nonsense, over used the footy, scared to take the game on, failed to keep numbers forward of the ball. Top that off with horrible skill errors and mistakes and we basically handed them 4 points.

Apart from Pickett who went Harlem Globetrotter, the rest of Melb never really hit their straps all game.

At least it wasn't the embarrassing keepings off game plan like we did against them earlier this year. We tried to switch the play to open up the game, but the forward 50 entries were mostly flooded by Melb's defence and Gawn.

We're now 1-7 against the top 8 teams and 7-2 against teams outside the 8. We are the most middle of the road, no man's land team in the AFL.

saw this commented from someone on facebook:

From 2016-2022 Ports record against top-4 sides is 5 wins - 27 losses, worst in the league in that period.

not sure if its accurate or not but sounds 100% plausible

Reckon we lost today because we had a few passengers . Most of the guys were pretty good . But Mead, Georgiades, Farrell and to a lesser extent Bonner let us down , have decent impact from them or their replacements and we might’ve got up so that was disappointing . Pickett was the difference , he was so clean and nailed his chances , our version in the forward line SPP sprayed all of his chances .
We had good players but just those loose edges cost us

Jonas spent way too much time defending Pickett. I'm not sure who was actually playing on him but Jonas being the only player near him when he was dangerous is a major fail.

i assume darcy bonged a few cones, or it was riley boner who spent the entire game looking like he didn't know where he was.

Bonner cost us two goals if not more from skill issues dropping a sitter, poor inside kick, not good enough. There’s only a few players at our club that should be automatic inclusions without a seconds game.
