In all seriousness of course Niccage isn't on the cards.

But Cage absolutely definitely is.

After Johnny Cage.

The dude has gone from A-list to a gazillion B film roles.

Must have done something wrong despite his average acting ability

He is the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola, so he must have screwed the pooch, metaphorically.

Coppola made like, a couple of really good movies in the 70s, then dropped away. Not the name he used to be.

Fair call, but still a big name, successful director. And would still have influence and contacts that should allow his half arsed nephew to be appearing in better quality movies more often. IMHO

He'd be about as relevant as George Lucas.

Another guy that people would say didn't make a good film since the 80s.

Anyway, it's a moot point. Nic Cage was probably the biggest star on the planet for a while. He won an oscar. He 'made it'.

It isn't like he's been c-grade forever.

Academy Award for best Actor 1995- Leaving Las Vegas
1996 - The Rock
1997 - ConAir, Face Off
2002 - Adaptation - nominated for Academy Award
2005 - Lord of War

Would be the highlights, and 'biggest star on the planet' was short lived and seriously overhyped IMHO

The unbearable weight of massive talent is great. So much fun.
