There is no suggestion at all Clarko wants Amarfio gone. A lot of this Amarfio stuff is absolute bullshit. The heat he cops is because he held Channel 7's head in a toilet and successfully bested them in cricket rights negotiations.

A lot of powerful people have it out for him, purely because he one upped them. He has been a straight shooter in all the dealings I have had with him and seen of others. Perpetuating these completely untrue things about him is pathetic and it needs to stop.

It doesn’t really matter what we believe or don’t believe, does it? I’ve just read something that told me not to believe everything I read. Essentially, my best bet is not to read anything in this instance.

I will say one thing, you have been consistent in your message.

I’m not sure anyone but Alistair Clarkson know what he is doing?

If find the whole travelling to Sydney to tell them No a strange thing, but maybe he’s that type of Cat?

My gut feel is the verbal is that he is very interested and is being misconstrued as he has agreed to come. You would think we will know pretty soon, because after 4 meetings you would think he will inform GWS of his intentions either way within the week.

That is the odd part for me. If it was a no it would be a simple quick call, there is no need to waste peoples time by meeting in person.

My read is he hasn’t decided one way or the other. But I’m really guessing, with so much conflicting information floating around.

There’s absolutely zero chance Clarkson went to Sydney to tell them no in person.

He might very well still come to us, but any week old verbal agreement is complete horseshit imo if has indeed met GWS yesterday.
