Pretty funny how the media narrative is that GWS is running a “proper process”, despite clearly being all in on getting Clarko. The only difference between North & GWS’ “proper process”, is that GWS have had a preliminary conversation with other applicants (despite only being a possibility if Clarko says no) & GWS have asked the AFL for a help in paying him.

Dunno about anyone else but listening to goldy on SEN talking about his future and the speculation re Clarko,,,,,very subtle but at times seemed to be talking in terms of what clarko “will” do with the list rather than “might” “could” or “would” Also said he has only spoken to Clarko a couple of times throughout his career. I wonder what sort of context that might have been in and how recently.

My gut feel is the verbal is that he is very interested and is being misconstrued as he has agreed to come. You would think we will know pretty soon, because after 4 meetings you would think he will inform GWS of his intentions either way within the week.
