They keep saying 'stacked' sides.

No, they are the reserves, a stacked side would be the firsts ffs!

Whinged and moaned all year, sprung the upset with three extra men, sang NTUA at The Parade, then whinged and moaned some more.

West Australian markets: Seven have decided not to broadcast tonight’s COLL v FREM Semi Final on their primary channel, due to a special local news at 4pm > rolling network coverage > local 6pm bulletin taking priority with Queen Elizabeth’s passing (returns to 7mate).

Some ancient old biddy carking it 2 days ago is more important than the footy. Please.

Visited the Melbourne board and oh boy. Maybe they should be the ones folded rather than Norf. I know they were close in the 90s before Joe Gutnick stepped in.

The game was the the G and almost sounded like a Brisbane home game. This is a team that won a flag last year. If ever they were gonna have fans you'd think it would be now. Even their board is almost totally dead. Reminds of visiting the GC or GWS forums. They have bugger all support and when they go back to being rubbish it'll be even worse. There's just too many Vic clubs.

When I think about the sort of crazy support a Tasmanian team would get and you have the AFL doing it's best to bury the bid... FMD they're meant to be custodians of the game.

Whoever replaces the giant Gildo needs to be a non Victorian with a strong non Victorian agenda. It's a farce of a comp ATM.

I don't think Berry has any problems at the tribunal. He was on the ground with Oliver's forarm across his throat.
Oliver's scratch under his eye came from the Swans game last week.
Disgusting that he even has a case to answer. He couldnt even see where his hands were cause he had a bloke with an elbow on his throat.

Collingwood are pushing for a Queen's Remembrance game starting next year to follow up the Kings Birthday game, Geelong the favourites to meet them in the remembrance match. Stand alone game, public holiday MCG blockbuster. AFL looking at the week before ANZAC day (queen's actual birthday) as the round to hold the remembrance match and will form part of a 'Marquee month at the MCG' during April, with Anzac day, queen's remembrance match, Easter Monday and Collingwood v Carlton with a standalone Saturday afternoon game in between.
Yep. Nothing surer than Collingwood being given yet another leg-up, because they don't already have enough "marquee" fixtures. Then in the same breath berate (and suffocate) clubs like Port because they can't get themselves out of debt.

One assumes that all fixtures will be against "Big Victorian Clubs" in order to ensure that equalisation remains a complete fantasy.

It's pretty hard to press 73 instead of 7 hey.

This is nothing new in WA - nearly all night games are shown on 73 because they're on during the sacred 6.00pm news time slot.

I have seen it twice in two weeks now. One of the AFLW girls takes a mark near the centre square right on the siren and goes back and takes what can only be described as an over ambitious kick at goal. Today the Crowkette was at least 100 metres from goal and managed to boot the ball all of 30 metres. Nobody really bothered with the ball and it stopped rolling about 30 metres from the goalsquare. A similar thing happened with a Western Bulldogs player last week. I had a quiet chuckle on both occasions.

Describes my very short junior footy career as a forward to a tee.

Zero alignment of ambition and ability.

Yeah but when BT character-assassinates you on live TV, the MRP takes notice. He'll be out until round 5......

Count your blessings. In the UK the entire round for the EPL has been called off. The Cricket Test England v South Africa is going ahead but as we all know football is simply not cricket. ;)

Liked and quoted for “Gildo”.

To be fair to Blackburn (the dogs player) she did basically say in the interview that she knew she was no shot but was just having fun.
