Haven’t watched it either but he’s leading both disposals (17) and ranking points for the game at half time, and that’s despite going off injured and them saying he was not looking good and that he was basically playing on one leg once he came back on.

If Carlton get him for under $400K PA as reported they’re getting a bargain.

It's flabbergasting that the margin is only four goals. Been one of the most one sided games I can remember.

Vaguely remember someone on the radio recently saying he wasn’t in their future plans. Sounds very odd considering he’s only 26. Blues will have a ready-made, more talented, replacement for Newnes.

Why are Freo pushing him out? Doesn’t make sense to me he’s been great for them this season.

I think it’s because they have a lot of young guys coming up (including 4 taken in the first round) who they’re going to have to find spots for, plus they need to free up cap space for Jackson and maybe Logue.

So it’s just a matter of “something has to give” and I think they’re confident that they can cover for him going forward.

Too many people these days are disconnected from reality.

It doesn't bother me at all what Leigh said, nothing wrong with the truth. I enjoy the women's game, it supports a pathway to the top for 50% of the population. It doesn't need to make money, 7 and Foxtel have covered that.
