Wear comfortable shoes

This worked for me in 98, don’t stick to your bay if it’s packed, others may be less crowded

Bring one of these along...

The chair, I mean! :grinv1:
All good, as I was lining up some Collingwood supporters were offering a seated ticket, offered him a few $$ and got a seat behind the goals at the City end on level 1. Great seat and quite an enjoyable night. I found some of the supporters around me were really fair with their analysis. And I want to acknowledge how classy Darcy Moore was post game with his on ground interview for the stadium, acknowledging Dave Mundy as he was leaving the ground. 80k Collingwood supporters gave him a rousing applause. Well done Collingwood!

I fear Geel Bris will be an absolute fizzer.
Syd Coll will be a tough and hard fought belter probably worthy of a GF.

Anyone but Geelong pls

I have not rated Brisbane at all but they've come to the party so far. Wouldn't be surprised to see a fair fight from them. It's been the year for it. Full of belief who knows, they might give the Cats a scare. I don't think they have what it takes to beat them but it might come down to a couple of goals, they've definitely matched up well in the past.

Yes was a very one sided crowd. But when Mundy kicked that goal they gave him a big applause.

See you there.
Hopefully we get a tight game.

And even though it is not Collingwood or Richmond (the teams that draw the largest finals crowds). Hopefully they get well over 80,000.

I see that Collingwood supporters are all over 3AW / SEN going ape droppings about the cost of plane tickets to Sydney.....

FMD.

Haven't we been labelled as sooks when we have complained about the same thing over the years i.e. travelling to Melbourne to attend finals.?

Have you seen the prices? Don't make it an us vs them, make it an us vs extortionate business practices

They are confused as Collingwood play interstate maybe 4 times a year max

It's funny because there's twice daily trains and a couple of buses that run between Melbourne and Sydney each day (plus whatever is being organised by the club/Collingwood cheer squad).

Sure, the prices for all modes of transport will be inflated but there are several alternatives to flying.

It's not like with us with no rail options (unless you can make it a 4 day weekend around the Overland's timetable), or WA where your only option is flying (and the infamous options of flying via Singapore being cheaper than direct flights)

Didn't know that about Singapore. It's a great place to visit, so I wouldn't mind adding that as part of a Perth trip

With Brisbane knocking out Melbourne.

Recent history holds true

Since 2012 - If a team starts 5-0, they only go on to win the premiership if they lose their first game to Adelaide
