Ive said it before, everyone forgets the previous GF experience that is still at the pies.

Pendles (freak), Sidebottom, Cripps, Maynard, Miocheck, Moore, Adams, Elliott, DeGoey, Grundy, Hoskin-Elliot, Cox, Howe, etc..

They threw some young guns around them, sprinkled in a new coach with fresh ideas who allowed them to play freely and hey presto!

We’re miles away from that..

If we need to give Bowes a year or 2 extra to get him to pick us over the list of clubs, we should.

Pay him what he is owed the next two years (don't touch that) and add a year or two at 400ish a year to show him we want him and not just the pick. Sell him on a role and give him a commitment (longer contract).

Think most clubs would be offering bowes the same

Our advantage will be more game time in the senior team compared to others (cats etc)

Collingwood won finals in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022.

I don't think this year was a fluke - their stinker in 2021 was the outlier.
