Can see us asking for 6 and 11 for 2 but ending up with 6 and 18. Which ends up 200 odd points more for Richmond. In all honesty don't think it's that bad considering the even top crop and the fact we don't necessarily need any of them and are more interested in Tarau. The risk obvs being of Melbourne take tarau or if they go for shanahan/ Armstrong.

6 and 18 we'd end up with one of tarau/ shanahan and possibly Whitlock or another tall around then. Maybe even trainor. Not that bad
Let me know when you're selling you're house, Giani. I'll promise you a not bad price for a good house, not bad payment options and settlement terms.

Pick 2 is awesome, why are you so wrapt to give it to a direct competitor for less than it's value.

I wanna smack you with a spanakopita.

Abso-f-ing-lutely.

We do not need to trade this pick.

No At the very least has to be 6,18 and 20

They can get my prized f3 with p2

But 2 for 6 and 11 should be what we aim for and not settle for less than any of the above

It really doesn't matter what picks we get as long as we can get the two players we want with those two picks. Arguing over whether that's 6 and 11 or 18 or whatever is just a pissing contest.

But certainly, if we can't get the picks that are sure to land us the two players we like, then hold on to 2.

Yeah, if Tauru is the guy that we would take at pick 2 and he'll be there at 6 then we'd be getting 18 for free.

This nonsense of including F1 to get pick 11 only makes sense if we think that there's a guy at pick 11 who is worth more than a top 5 picks next year. I don't know who that is.

That's a lot of if's.

If Tauru is the guy you want and he's not there at 6 you just got two players you didn't rate at the top of your list.

Not in a million years would we draft Tauru at 2. It would be understandable if we appreciate him but it seems like we the fans are being conditioned he’s our main guy when it’s reasonable he’s not in the top ten of the draft.

An interesting article in today's Age. Post the Trade period, we still have the youngest list and the second least average games played.

I had imagined the inclusions of Parker, Darling and Daniel, might have changed that but I forgot that Hugh Greenwood and Liam Shiells have retired.

Surely time will catch up with Collingwood and Geelong soon. Makes you wonder why Houston chose the Pies ahead of another club, because a cliff awaits. It might be next year and thereafter opportunity lost. Let's hope so anyway.

I know it's a lot of ifs. I'm talking in ifs. I'm not saying that this is reality, it's just what would be required for those trade ideas to make sense.

If I had three list spots to fill and didn't want to reach for a KP I'd be looking for something like that
I don't hate it in this draft. It depends on how we rate the different players and where we think we can get them. Maybe 10,18,24, if we were confident one of Tauru and Armstrong would still be there at 10 or if we rated Shanahan equally.

That would be time for Houston to break another contract as his girlfriend has moved to Geelong and he wants to be closer to her 😎

I would rather pick 6 and 18 for 2 than pick 6 and 10 for 2 and F1
