While your rite it appears the Cats have been able to convince their players to take unders to achieve the big prize. We have also been able to do the same but from the outside I would say at nowhere near the same level thus allowing the cats to gain a considerable advantage. We may win the big one next year but going forward the Cats will be a contender for years to come as we loose much of our core such as Cotchin, Jack, Grimes, Pickett, Tarrant, Broad and Martin etc
Cats contenders for years to come ? So Hawkins floggerfield Cameron Blicavs Duncan 2E smith Stanley playing well into their 40s hey 😂 their cliff is coming mightily fast we have more youth and drafted more and who knows what we get with those gws picks Graham was a 53rd pick

Lets not forget those with cousins, uncles, second cousins, thrid cousins, dusty barber, grocer, and car wash dude who all knew he was going and would often send me nasty DM's telling me " You wait when he leaves will prove you are full of s**t" type DM's and PM's.

See you next year :)
Who’s coming next year 😜

A lot of nonsense being spoken about Geelong. My take:
  • Tanner Bruhn = Thomson Dow. Won’t play much in 2023.
  • Oli Henry = undersized forward, not as versatile as Gary Rohan. Will barely play.
  • Bowes = ok player, doesn’t have the size to play midfield. Effectively a straight swap for Cooper Stephen but costs them an extra $300k per year for the next 4 years. Won’t play much in 2023.
  • pick 7 - nice pickup, but probably won’t play much in 2023.

In short - they brought in younger depth players. This is about the cliff.

We dramatically improved our list for 2023. They didn’t.

When you log on with your Richmond alt, but think you're posting on the Cats board.

Hawks only got Meek, Cooper Stepehns and a couple of s**t picks for Mitchell and O'Meara?

Wtf are they doing
Trading out Gunston, OMeara and Mitchell and didn't Bruest retire. Wow
Did they get back any future picks?
They are going to be worse than North, they are definitely diving for the bottom. Ouch

Everyone needs to remember the Pies are 1 Darcy Cameron injury away from Cox being their #1 ruck.

Not sure about Mitchell. McStay is average, rather keep Grundy. Hill is not that good imo. Frampton lol. Mitchell is slow a plodder.
Also Mitchell plays sideways footy not get the ball going forward he will **** up the way they play I’m glad they got him it’s gonna be hilarious reading on their board next season when all their fans are bagging him and how slow and shit he is 😂

That was my point about a week ago - Geelong are probably the best team for the Bowes heist. Of the top 8, they are the least likely to be a serious contender across 2025-28. Next year will be their last genuine crack at another flag for a while, and these incoming younger players won't be key components of that.
