Looks like something is stuck up his clapper. He looks like he just heard that his au pair's visa got cancelled.
Nowhere near the same.Every Victorian club in the AFL was a state league based club, we are just the only one outside of Victoria.
They were all state league clubs you could even argue the Swans have state league dna.Nowhere near the same.
The Sydney Swans are still South Melbourne from the VFL despite relocating to another state and going through private ownership. Meanwhile Port Power Football Club established circa 1996 have no connection to the PAFC that was a foundation club of the SNAFL other than stealing their phone number, herp derp. They were all state league clubs you could even argue the Swans have state league dna.
And Brisbane has no connection to the Bears, 100% Fitzroy… when it suits. The Sydney Swans are still South Melbourne from the VFL despite relocating to another state and going through private ownership. Ssshhh. You don't want to awaken that tedious bore Roylion for some tedious semantics nobody cares about. And Brisbane has no connection to the Bears, 100% Fitzroy… when it suits.

Haha. So much selective bullshit has been peddled by the PAFC haters on this. Of course the club that won the licence in 1994, being the Port Adelaide Football Club, then mysteriously disappeared into the ether to be replaced by some new club that had no association with the club that just won the licence. Makes perfect sense. Bunch of w***ers these people ie Grandpa Cornes and others. The Sydney Swans are still South Melbourne from the VFL despite relocating to another state and going through private ownership. Im not sure there are many that are actually dumb enough to think this.Haha. So much selective bullshit has been peddled by the PAFC haters on this. Mt Barker is 40km from AO, so if the state government were going to have a big wine and food type tourism promo in the Barossa, they can do something similar for the Adelaide Hills producers in Mt Barker. They wont do the same sort of thing down The Parade. So there is no ground in The Barossa that meets the AFL criteria for a magic round game and the AFL are now looking at Mt Barker. As Mt Barker is widely regarded as a suburb of Adelaide why not use suburban grounds anyway ? and I thought the idea was to showcase the State? I reckon SA will keep Magic Round for two years tops.
The AFL sourced story says 'Tanunda, which has produced Port Adelaide great Justin Westhoff, remains a potential option if Mount Barker is deemed unsuitable.'So there is no ground in The Barossa that meets the AFL criteria for a magic round game and the AFL are now looking at Mt Barker. 1000 people is all you will need for GC v Norths. The AFL sourced story says 'Tanunda, which has produced Port Adelaide great Justin Westhoff, remains a potential option if Mount Barker is deemed unsuitable.'
Why would you not look at Tanunda in the first place if Nuriootpa is regarded as too narrow, Angaston surface unsuitable and you wanted a Barossa focus?
Murray Bridge Oval only has capacity for 1000 people and needs a lot of work on facilities to bring it up to standard anyway.
Reckon whoever is doing the commentary on this from AFL House has no understanding of Adelaide or its regions.

I still dont think many will travel. Given the lack of flights into Adelaide (look at flight costs at the moment) and its planned for the weekend after Easter…. Being school holidays is about the only thing that may save it.
