Yeah, it’s weird.

‘Socialism’ is a taboo on par with cannibalism, but they’re pretty happy with spending ~$800,000,000,000 of public funds on the military-industrial complex annually 🤪
It helps to think of the modern Republicans as a loose alliance of sociopaths. The internal policy logic flows fairly comfortably then.

One of my kids has discovered Lunatics so I got to see it for the first time yesterday.
The real estate agent character is like its based on Micheal Clarke.

The things you remember - I still remember Robert Walls tipping Port to win the 2013 wooden spoon. In the immortal words of Maxwell Smart, "Missed it by that much." :)
To be fair, the turning point that season when we started to give every one of the 22 a run in the ruck for 5 mins, just to get them all into the game.

Just bide your time and hope you've still got some mates - looks like Hutchie to the rescue...

Media Street: SEN approaches sacked reporter Tom Morris

Tom Morris could be back in a surprise media role less than a year since he was sacked by Fox Footy.

SEN have approached former Fox Footy reporter Tom Morris about a role in 2023.

Morris hasn’t been sighted since he was sacked in March last year after offensive comments were leaked to social media about a Fox colleague.

Craig Hutchison’s SEN is the first media outlet to offer an olive branch with a number of possible roles floated for the coming AFL season.

One of Morris’ biggest fans is veteran broadcaster Gerard Healy who now co-hosts Sportsday on SEN with Kane Cornes.

The pair worked together on the show when it was on 3AW with Morris used as a breaking news reporter. He also worked alongside Healy on Fox Footy’s On The Couch.

Another proposal being floated is a Sunday show, similar to the station’s Saturday Crunch Time, where Morris would team up with his former Fox Footy colleague Sarah Olle.

Olle and Morris are close friends and have worked together on podcasts and various shows previously.

Seriously, what is the point of linking us to this story? Collingwood barely rates a mention (and fair enough, Joffa’s actions don’t represent the club as a whole) yet one of the biggest ****ing photos they use on this two page spread is him in a Port Adelaide jumper! What the ****!!!!

Meh - I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

No-one who actually has a brain is buying the HUN for its accuracy and editorial relevance anyway.

This beats Channel 7 holding on the shot of the Port cap on the rear shelf of that car whose owner had committed a crime.

Smithson has a stash of Port gear in the back of the Channel 7 SUV just for moments like this. Next to the bag with the disposable gloves for clandestine bin salvage ops.

While I do agree with the sentiment here, I don’t think it’s something that shouldn’t be called out. It’s the most recognised and influential newspaper over here and being a footy dominated city the story itself garners a lot of interest. Couple that with the crime being committed in Melbourne and the fact that this was the front page story it just gets more and more ridiculous.

Agree.

Only relevance I can see is that the story says the victim 'threw his support behind Port Adelaide for the 2004 Grand Final' when he was 13 years old - at the time he was being groomed by Joffa online and a few months before he was sexually assaulted by him.

'journo' compiling the story no doubt insisted he put on a Port jumper for that purpose.

It's done on purpose I'm sure of it.

Probably McChins calling in a favour.

Of course it is. Think of how many images of Joffa that they had to choose from, and how many of them where he would be wearing some kind of Collingwood branded gear, yet they land on the one image that he's wearing a Port Adelaide guernsey.

For no apparent reason.

Credit to the journo who probably had to sift through 10,000 photos of him wearing that pedo gold jacket before finding that one.

That's unfair, boober. It was chosen at random from all of the images of him wearing Port merch.

Mitch Georgiades to the Crows? Come on, the last Port player to defect is now playing at Collingwood.

The Monoploy Times must be short on things to write about.

I still can’t record anything for my YouTube channel so unfortunately a tiktok will have to do, but here’s a video I made about the Joffa article. If you could take the time to watch it I’d greatly appreciate that and the same goes for if you’re able to share the video. I’ve already posted it to the “We Are Port Adelaide” Facebook group and my own Instagram but we need more eyes on this issue for the sake of our club.

Deafening silence from Koch et al! Or have I missed something?

I assume the club is unaware given it happened in Melbourne. I'm currently on hold to the club right now so I'll update with what I hear from them.

UPDATE: I spoke to the club on the phone, the lady said she would pass on the message, but didn't say who to. I'm doubtful this will even happen because when I asked what email I should send the photos to, she said she's not sure they'd be able to access them (lol ****ing what????), I'd have thought if I attached it to the email, anybody with a screen who received the email would be able to see the photos but I digress. She didn't even know who Joffa was 😭

Typical PAFC fashion I suppose, I guess the only way to make sure this gets to the attention of anybody at the club might be to actually create some noise on social media so without wanting to sound like I'm trying to promote myself, please do share that video because I feel something needs to be done regarding this issue.

Your first mistake was thinking that the club would care.

Cardone is probably pitching it to the board as "getting our brand in the Melbourne media".
