Saw that, and to be fair she was checking the mark and lining up Windy and not looking at him, if she had of seen that I am sure it would have been a 50.

As it was it was a team lifter by Windy from 45 metres on an angle. Great goal.

That’s why I love watching the replays. You (well I do anyway) tend to miss a fair amount of the small things and 1%ers when live at the game.

He was great. Loving all our “ cheap” recruits .

One of the most impressive things about Hammer for mine is his tackling... he's like a man possessed.

And he has a surprising amount of agility when he gets the ball for someone his size.

IF … He puts the work in. Kid has the tools to be a threat.

And when the reinforcements arrive. I want him to keep going to the best or second best defender.

He makes the opposition accountable

100% agree with this, the best teams in human history have never taken the foot off the opponent's throat, even when winning by 20 goals, or the equivalent, i.e. 1 goal if you're into soccer.

THat was something that struck me in the last against eh Dogs, last year, we would have let them peg back a heap of junk time goals to the point they got back in it. Perhaps a big part of that is that we're a lot fitter this year than say last - was it Dan Butler in his pot game interview who said most of the boys haven't done that much running before, speaks volumes about the previous coaching team.

His last quarter was very very good, him and Wood really lifted the side on their backs.

I only saw the bit he did with the rest of them and didn't think he sounded too bad. I've seen him live and he's usually an excellent showman.

Played midfield in the juniors before a big late growth spurt, just like Max did, which would explain the moves they have in heavy traffic and excellent ability to get good handballs out.
