They were missing some key pieces I'm sure but that was a very fun game.
Win like that will do world's of good to sell the coaches message.

We are moving the ball really well. Still have gaps etc but the bones of the plan are there.
We look so much better with two rucks too.

Shame we can't see wright with this ball movement though.

Pretty disappointing that the boys took it so easy in the last quarter. If we're going to win the premiership this year, you can't let middle-of-the-road sides off the hook like that. Missed out on the percentage boost.

Still in shock with what just happened, admittedly Melbourne came to play bruise free footy and it showed when the weather came down. To few of there players left it up to the same guys and we were prepared to do the hard yards..

with 9/20 intercept possessions and the game of Nic Martin was huge. 25 but would have been appreciated more if he'd used it better (59%).

Love how we stood firm when they challenged and played the percentages when they scored multiple goals in the last quarter to take the wind out of the contest.

Well drilled, rock solid performance and we didn't let up on them.

One of Phillips' best games for the club.

Onwards and upwards for another big test next week. If we can snag around 3 wins out of our next 5 against opposition who have typically had the wood over us in recent years, then who knows, just pleasing to see some structure and cohesion with consistent effort

percentage is important but wet weather is where avoidable injuries happen. just glad that our only casualties were maybe zerk thatcher & harry jones

i think the snelling inclusion is the most important one. even in games we’ve won we’ve lacked tackling pressure & i think today he stood out not only because of that but just general pressure which allowed langers & drapes to have success
