Cracking game. Great result for Port, and I'm not sure there's much to worry about for St Kilda either. They have had a couple of pretty short turnarounds since Gather Round (compared to their opponents), and the longer it went tonight, the more they looked to be feeling the pinch.

Really poor crowd of 25,000. Saints on top of the ladder get a Friday night game and a chance to show that they are relevant and fail dismally.

That's why they should be playing at other timeslots unless they can piggyback on their opposition's fan base.
But yes. It was a pretty good game and the broadcasters did well to not show the crowd gaps.

For a midfield gorilla, Horne-Francis has got some leg speed, Port have a really good mix of midfield players.(I can only dream of this)
I hope our supporters show some class when we play, and resist the childish 'booing', he's still a kid and it's embarrassing.

Port’s mix of speed and strength in the midfield is fantastic, the 2021 Brownlow Medallist is probably their 5th best midfielder now. Still think they are short a KPF (Dixon on his last legs), a KPD and a ruckman from going all the way.
