I’d genuinely like to ask Fly why we don’t seem to force our way into the corridor anymore

Was a feature of our game last year and early this season

Seems to have disappeared

Very satisfying win.

Sydney are one of the more unlikeable teams we've encountered in recent times. Their premeditated targeting of Nick at the start of the game was pathetic and weak. Just classic faux tough guys if I've ever seen one.

In addition, you have Longmire whinging about our supporters booing Franklin, but completely forgetting that Ginnivan was subject to booing from the SCG crowd last year and he actually got injured in this game.

On the match itself, fantastic to see Checkers breakthrough and kick 5 goals in a game. It's been a long time coming for him. Just been such a consistent performer for us over the past 5 years. He currently sits 7th on the Coleman Medal tally.

Ginnivan had an instant impact in the final quarter. Just confirmed to everyone that he's in our best 22. The pressure will be on Bobby Hill to lift after a few quiet weeks.

IQ arguably played the best game of his career. Moore was also outstanding once again keeping Franklin under control.

We're not playing perfect footy at the moment, but we've consistently found another gear in our armour when we've been challenged by the opposition. This bodes well for the future.

Just on the booing topic, not a fan of it personally but each to their own. I'd just rather it be saved for actual flogs like Papley who've made an enemy of our club and it's players. Whereas when people were booing Buddy I just found myself asking why? What did he personally do to our club to deserve it? Sure he's a money chaser up in Sydney but why is that our business? Same with the JHF booing, I just didn't really get it.

Don’t boo anyone except who I say to boo?

Get over your holier than thou attitude.
I'm trying to work out if posters are serious when saying "it's ok to boo Papley because I don't like him, but it's terrible to boo Buddy..." Pretty bizarre if serious.

if you have a look after the second goal that WHE kicked, which nick daicos had a hand in, you'll see the bruzzy whisperer whispering into the ear of ryan clarke. He had a hold of clarke's jumper so that he could hold his head nice and close so that clarke could hear his whispering.....It's something that Maynard is doing a bit recently. I like it. It's controlled and effective.

Were you at the game? I was, Papley was booed just as loudly as Franklin. Both booed for being flogs, just like you would be if you were capable of actually doing anything in the public eye aside from being a social justice warrior on the internet.

Where I was sitting I would have thought the booing of Papley was at triple the volume. The booing of Buddy sounded more out of boredom.

It is systemic racism.

They are booing Papley, Buddy because of their white heritage but they didnt booing Charlie Cameron.

It’s vile racism however you look at it.

Lin Jeong felt left out of the racist booing so quit the afl

Poor bastard had one of those days.

I was a cricket umpire for many years - some days you get all the sh!tty decisions at your end, and the other guy gets to count to 6 all day.
He really had to call for all of them.
It’s what it’s there for…don’t know why everyone gets upsetting when it’s used?!?

You knew it took place yet trying to minimise it. You heard the papley booing yet couldn't hear buddy which was louder. Very selective hearing. I wonder why...
So did you complain on your board when your fellow supporters booed Ginni as well? I wonder why not…

The best thing about that, after WHE kicks the goal, and our boys get into Clarke, I didn't see many of the Swans "hard men" get in to support their team-mate. Bloods culture? More like B**ch culture.

Boooooo the **** out of all the campaigners. Every other team and individual. The amount of shit we've copped over the years from from jealous, poor and tiny clubs has been constant. If I was a booer, I'd have a microphone and sub woofer with me. It's just that I don't actually let out the word boo but I'm all for it

On replay, Elliott was the victim of some atrocious passes and terrible bounces when clear of his opponent and in scoring positions. Howlers from McCreery and Mihochek were especially bad. Easily could have kicked 4-5 goals with a bit more luck.

Plenty of good signs though. Much more involved and impactful today. Seems to have turned the corner.

He's probably saying something along the lines of "Pull your head in dipsh*t. You'll never be as good as Nick. Try that again and expect to hear footsteps."

Nah. He did well. He got them all right and then had to double check as they were too close to be positive.
Assuming it was the same Ump All day, I thought he called a Behind for the swans one that was a goal in the second qtr…..
But all of them, whether he got it right or wrong, had to be referred.

As Doc said….just one of those days for him!!
