I watched the VFL game and Miller was great in the first half.

Yea you would have thought we have saints tall forwards covered with starting line up , I’d still have miller in and throw him forward or back if req as a floater ,,,,,saints fold back HARD so extra marking target in f50 needed

we're only playing 1 extra tall compared to our last 2 premiership sides, and the players we're using are more mobile than assbery + soldo

All this bagging of Tyler Young is amazing. Why?
Because he doesn’t get much of the footy? No different to Grimes and Astbury when they started. He’s a spoiler at this point in time and I’m hoping as he gets more confidence, he'll back himself to take possessions and take the game on. He’s tall enough and has decent leg/closing speed to be a decent tall defender imo.
If it’s for that tap back towards goal that cost us a goal, well, that’s just being petty. We had 3 players at the back of that contest and he was very unlucky it fell to Walters. Not much different to when Jack kicked it forward of the contest against the Bummers that ended up in their winning mark and goal.

Miller everywhere is better than Eddy everywhere.
He was best man on the ground in the VFL rucking/ Forward in the fir half. Then he was moved to the BL bc their CHF was killing us and he locked him down, but we had too many passengers in the midfield and around him in the BL. He offers versatility and that’s what I love about him.

Miller to play as a key forward? I would have said he's been brought in to help the back 6, but Young has held his spot as the 7th defender, which is a bit surprising.

MRJ most likely to be sub, I think they'll want to give Ralphsmith a full game in the VFL.

Mansell named and if his suspension isn't overturned I reckon Ralphsmith will come into the 22 unless they surprise us with Banks?

Watching last weeks VFL game I thought Millar looked good forward, bringing the ball to ground on most occasions but unfortunately was required in the backline in the 2nd half to shore up our undersized defence, ie a typical utilities duties.
