We got pantsed in the ruck contests but all credit to the mids, we came away square.

An ugly game by Pittonet and TDK but credit where it’s due, against the last decades two premier ruckmen they halved contests and importantly Gawn and Grundy had zero influence around the ground as far as I was concerned and importantly Gawn just wasn’t marking everything as he tends to do late in a game.

fluffed our lines a little bit late in the 3rd (acres not feeding off and going back into traffic) and 4th (back to the hacking defence) but held on.
looked like a goal live, gave them lots of opportunities to take the lead. frustrating to watch. curnow could only break even but we managed to find some other avenues.
