Sounded amazing on tv, can’t imagine what it would have been like at the ground.

As soon as it left his boot everyone knew it was going through. What a stud.
Honestly I can’t recall a louder roar the last 20 years …. maybe the Judd goal against Richmond in the elimination final in th3 last came close.

Oh I sure hope so. I've suffered enough.

Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. Perhaps that forever remains open to interpretation.

I just don't seem to recall a match in recent times with such a decision that has this much potential ramifications. What are Geelong and Sydney thinking right now? What is the AFL's verdict?

Understand that I grew up with the new generation of non-arrogant fans who have only ever seen punishment and false dawns. Soft I might be right now, but I want to see success no less than you do. Don't you think we are entitled some good times without such controversies?
Tom Cruise What GIF

Just so ****ing happy! All I ask is that the boys play with pride for the jumper, that is all I have ever asked, through thick and thin. Been a lot of thin the last 20 odd years and a lot of god damn passengers.

Just makes me so proud to hopefully see those days behind us.

You have done us and the jumper all proud boys take a bow!

Does Grundy somehow makes Gawn play like sh*t; or was TDK just too good?

The problem is they are both number one rucks who have had the ability to play there predominantly throughout their entire career. Neither of them really has the versatility to play elsewhere. It'll be like having two Pittos instead of having a TDK. You can really only play one of them. They can both be handy goal kickers but they don't have the versatility to play there regularly and when they do drift forward that's when that's a strength to have them there.

The real interesting questions will be in a few weeks time with the additions of players coming back from injury.

Walsh
Cerra
McGovern
JSOS
Harry
Kennedy
Some players are making it hard to drop Dow, Fog, Fisher are playing a great role at the moment. Even the likes of Motlop and Owies are hard to drop as well.

Marchdona -> McGovern
Fisher -> Walsh
Hollands/Dow -> Cerra

Those are the three names likely to be dropped, but I feel slightly bad for them all.
Balance is the most important thing as imo that is what has turned our season around.
I’d go.
Gov for Marchbank
Cerra for Dow
Walsh for Hollands
McKay likely comes in for a small forward which throws things out, probably Motlop.
JSOS, Boyd and Kennedy miss out.
Fisher is one bad game from going out which is harsh.
Hollands getting dropped seems crazy but imo is the most replaceable.
Dow sub.

I don’t want to be negative but, having watched the last 2 mins in Fix, why does TDK drop 3 marks. In a post match interview on Fox even he mentioned one dropped mark.
TBH if we had lost it was squarely on his shoulders. Until he starts taking those grabs instead of dropping them he will not progress to elite. I believe h3 will progress to elite next year. He will be something special, just not the finished article yet. Building nicely … could have cost us today, but was also MASSIVE today if that makes sense.

The Marchbank touch may have been dubious, but after the goal they got from that 'dangerous tackle' I really don't care.

Hewett was unbelievable.
We also had 2x unpaid 50mp, both of which would have resulted in certain goals.

Gawn kicking the ball away after Martin's ITB in the last qtr was the most egregious.

Honestly I can’t recall a louder roar the last 20 years …. maybe the Judd goal against Richmond in the elimination final in th3 last came close.
Yep the Judd goal or the Fev mark in the last vs Hawthorn. He kicked 8 I believe already but went on to hit the post and we lost. The G was shaking for a good 30 seconds.

I don't understand all the chest beating here. Am I the only one who is not at all happy with the win? Our season now looks to have an asterisk on it all over a rather dubious score review.

Don't get me wrong, 8 in a row looks sweet on paper, but it now looks undeserved.

The game will always have controversies. But this one kills me inside. I want my team fighting and winning fair.

Wouldn't it have also been better to lose that one for the sake of the players' psychological approach? I don't want them getting ahead of themselves now in these last two games.
Not sure if seriouS??? You are taking the piss yeah?
