I think I said that I was done with this pathetic club after the Essendon loss

8 straight wins since.

Now I look like an idiot. The things you say out of frustration. Go the mighty Blues !!!
You don't look like an idiot at all. I was the same. Back then I was sitting at games just plain numb. Couldn't believe what I was watching. They deserved every ounce of criticism they got. The proof IS the last 8 weeks.

Newman Gov Kemp
Saad Weiters Fish

Acres Cerra Doc
Ruck Cripps Walsh

Cunners McKay? Martin
Owies Curnow Motlop

Cincotta Fogarty Hewett ?? ??

I dont think we should play McKay + 2 rucks. Who the best ruck is I'm not sure is Pitto is great in ruck but TDK gives a bit more around the ground.

Who gets that last bench spot? Is it Hollands for wing specialist? Is it Kennedy who had that midfield role? Is it Dow who has handled the midfield role well in Kennedy abscence? Is it heart and soul Silvagni? Then for sub Curnow is also a sneaky chance given adaptability or maybe its Silvagni with his adaptability?

TDK has been AWSOME rewatched the Stkilda game was pivotal in starting scoring chains.
Against Melbourne again his athletic attributes in the forward line hasn’t fully shone as in a bag of goals but it has nullified the opposition intercept defenders as he regularly brings it to ground he is far and away our best resigning.
He is the magic unicorn athletic ruck forward every game he improves we have the backline we have the forwards and mids now also the ruck we have no weakness only strength
It’s scary how good he can become he is great now and gets himself into positions most rucks simply can’t
He is going to dominate a game soon and will be written up as The new shiny thing we have known was devoloping incrementally week by week

No second motion. Cunners no added aggression during tackle. Melbourne players arms were free and after tackle Melb player passed ball to ump thinking nothing of it.
Cunners is just fast and a smothering tackler, it's a burden he'll just have to learn to live with.

Reminded me of watching Martin play VFL level and being penalised for similar strong efforts...look of total confusion on his face.

Fantastic win for millions of reasons but primarily:

1. Form teams heading into finals have such an advantage carrying momentum. Complete reverse of last year where we started on fire but sputtered badly late. Credit to the coaches and fitness staff - ideally we wouldn’t need to leave it so late but who cares?

2. Yet another style of win last night to add to our experience/belief. Wet and slippery conditions against an in-form and close-to-full-strength top 4 side. The last three games have all been super tough with ample opportunity for us to drop our heads or choke and abandon the plan.

Each time we are presented with a challenge that we work through and overcome, it further reinforces our conviction and confidence in what we are doing. Still not battle tested in the true heat of finals but we already know that. Can only win the games you’re in.

The gritty belief pulsating through the whole club is palpable right now. There have been a few games like last night and Collingwood where people have thought going into them “free swing, few injuries, nothing to lose” but the coaches/players have very rightly NOT acted that way. They’ve not taken the “close enough is good enough, honourable loss” type attitude - instead each game is do-or-die and thrown everything at them. You LOVE to see it.

Two tough games still to play and while finals look much more likely now, we still need to get there and - should we make it - we face an atmosphere we haven’t experienced for a decade in an elimination setting. We are showing all the signs that we are building the right way but actual experience is so important.

Lots of players in great form right now so for now I’ll keep it short and just say one name - Cripps. Wow. He is in imperious form right now and looks to be moving freely. What a beast and inspirational captain. Plus a massive shoutout to Vossy and the coaches - it looked shaky mid-season but they stuck to their guns and have emerged from the darkness with a battle-tested system.

What a time to support the Blues. Enjoy this exciting ride - we all deserve to!

That's 3 weeks in a row, I have declared best win of the year.
We just keep getting better.
What I love, is that we keep excorsing our past demons (pardon the pun).
We get our revenge over the Pies, then the Saints and now even more exquisitely sweet a nail biter over the Demons.
Could you see the demons fans, feeling totally ripped off at the end. Have taste of our medicine and try not choke.

Not sure if we are guaranteed finals yet. But I honestly believe we will win our last 2 games.
We some handy players to come back in.

Go Blues, you bloody ripper tea, Feeling so proud.
And go the Matildas' Was a good omen.

Hewett trolling in the interview, stating Paddy Dow being “like a right footed Pendlebury” 🤣
Absolute gold, to be fair - Paddy doesn’t seem to be moving that fast but no one gets near him soon as starts going.

Maybe but the only way I would be sure myself is if Caleb himself was truly adamant it touched his arm. I never happened to catch that.

I'm sure he would do such a thing. Seems like someone who would truly play by the rulebook.

He signalled touched the second after while sprawled on the ground! What is wrong with you?
