Most important factor: whatever outcome puts the most pressure on Ken and Koch to finally get the hell out of the way of us properly contending for a flag. IMO a Lions win probably does that more than a Collingwood win.

Then if you can't pick a clear preference on those grounds, poke at some secondary factors:

You just watched my dad hahaha. Back around that time (4-5 years ago) I had an Instagram account that was followed by a few players including Billy and Pisty and several other players where I would just post general life shit and assorted ridiculous shitposts like this.

By extension I got my dad to make those videos on his channel as I had a way to send them over to the boys and they both enjoyed them. Now Billy is playing for the side my dad barracks for it’s gone a little bit full circle.

Point taken on McRae, not on Fagan - in terms of "facts". Agree Koch 100% would try to spin a Lions win that way.

Fagan at the Lions since 2017, compared to Port his Lions have made slow progress with less "wild variations":

2019 out in straight sets, losing to both grand finalists
2020 a step forwards, spanked in the second half of a home prelim
2021 a step backwards, a home semi final choke against the Bulldogs who one week later would <expletive deleted> Port.
2022 spanked in an MCG prelim by the eventual premiers
2023 another step forwards, at least they got to a grand final...
