The highlights show mostly fend-offs because that's what looks good on the highlight reel.
He's actually incredibly agile. In some vids you'll see him step around multiple people to win a clearance and is incredibly good one on one, even against much larger opponents.
Didn't use the fend-off much in his VFL games, so doesn't overly rely on it, if that's your concern.
For sure, I realise highlight vids do that. Was just curious in the normal process of a game how often he uses the fender, but you've answered that.
It's remarkable how often he gets out of congestion to release the ball one way or another, a veritable escapologist - Harley Houdini...

It's impressive how often he hits targets without even looking when he handballs whilst being tackled. Clearly knows where other players are without needing to see them.
Think you're underselling him a fair bit there..

Is this the game he was out bodying his opponent in the goal square and taking those marks as an under ager? I don't watch heaps of footage but I did watch that game and it was blowing my mind.

I think it was by chance that he was on the same flight. The club person picking the kids up probably saw him and asked him.
Probably saw all the eagles players there waiting on the draftees and thought holy crap need to get someone to meet them, then spotted Pavlich.
His handball is creative and accurate under heaps of pressure. Some insane highlights. His hands are elite.

If he kicks 7 goals and leads us to a win vs Port it wll be bittersweet because whatever prevented him from playing the second half is of great concern to me
