You just know that things are looking up for this this season so we can play in the GF against... the BraveBlues. Pies and Baggers face each other in the other PF beforehand.

I can see right through this...
I’d be leaving Victoria if it’s a Magpies v Blues Grand Final

The Lions got out of the barriers with a high intensity game. Then in the second quarter they dropped the intensity. But their opponent raised theirs.

The Lions, if they get a strong lead, always give you a chance. They slack off. Become disinterested. Add to that being probably a week behind in training & you have the recipe for a nightmare and that's what they got

Tonight it was for a woman I’ve never heard of. Last night was fair game since the umpiring fraternity would be feeling the death of Jesse Baird
Yes I remember them talking about her. She worked for the Lions. But did Blues players also have black bands? I would think the would for Ron. After all he coached them to the '68 & '70 premierships

Yes they did wear black armbands

Can you just imagine the utter pineappling we’d cop from Stevic & co. on Grand Final day if we played Carlton.

It’d make 2016 look almost fair by comparison.
Random question, but what club is the best case scenario to play against in a Grand Final where fairytales or home ground advantage won't come into it? At first I thought maybe Freo, but there's definitely an element of fairytale to it.

I don't think so because the Blues have already played since Barassi's passing. (Their PF v Brisbane was about a week later.)
