Saw him at Essendon DFO yesterday.

He is very, very, very tall.

Also, looks like he's starting to find his niche in the side after a rip-snorting start to his career. Hope he keeps it up

Needs to stop handballing at teammates feet but apart from that he is coming along ok. Just needs games like most kids imo.

That's been my biggest knock on him over the past fortnight. I really noticed it against Sydney, not so much on the weekend.

If that's my biggest knock of late then it means he's trending in the right direction. Onwards and upwards!

2 ways. the couple of times i saw him do it, he was trying to get the ball off the deck (bit harder for him) and get it outside the congestion quickly.

We have a weirdly high number of players that like to handball downwards.
top 3 frustration of mine from us for about the last 5-6 years.

I feel like you’re not telling us everything we need to know… surely you stalked him?
What was my boy shopping for?
Was he living an AFL lifestyle - no full fat cappuccino… no cheese toastie…
Was he only trying on club sponsor gear or going rogue? IMG_8844.jpeg

Think the confidence is building. My reason for stepping off the band wagon was my disappointment in some of his physical efforts and lack of attempt to even be in the play at times last year but each week this year despite the fact he looks like someone about to be run over by a freight train at times he has been good as far as wearing contact he has to wear and buttering up for the footy. His body work is still maybe two or three years away but he is starting to shine through a bit. Has good vision. Some of his handball in close is pretty sharp vision wise even if two or three did fire in at the feet of the target.

This really stands out to me.

Nice block of games to start the year.
All signs are building.
I was thinking my boy might be about due to tear it up v Port this weekend. But not sure if he gets dragged into a lockdown role. Would prefer to see him floating back, intercepting then getting forward with his endurance and kicking.

A nice juicy bit of responsibility would maybe suit him well

I would keep expect Lav to go out for Rids

Then when Reid is good to go 2/3 of Cox/Heppell/Kelly will make the cut.
Kelly is playing a different position to Reid.
