Not really a fair debut for Biggie. Our defence will get monstered, and we'll get flogged, at a venue that hates us.
Then the midfield need to start and play there bit by protecting the back 6 with greater defensive efforts? Maybe win the clearance and apply forward pressure.

Must say I'm not keen on tuning in.

I already know exactly what the mentality of the team will be.

Meek defensive effort, get punished on turnover, drop heads, game over.

So sick of it.

And yes I realize im being negative but jeez.... Can't they just bring a positive, rabid effort?

I'll watch for Sellers and Biggie, but the team's going to have to sell it to me with some pressure. If I see the same garbage as last week where the game is over halfway through the first quarter then I'm going to go read a book and try not to think about football.

Fifty Shades?

I would not be surprised if Scott tags LDU with Atkins, if Scott doesn't tag LDU, this would be his chance to cut loose and actually tear Geelongs mids to pieces along with our other boys.

How about wait and see before being disappointed? You don’t know what will happen, why spend extra days being miserable about the game?

Addressing a few recent posts:

We haven’t beaten Geelong since 2015, losing our last 11 in a row. Our average losing margin in that time is 42.3 points. Our average losing margin at GMHBA in that time (five games) is 59.2 points. In those last five games at Geelong, our highest score is 63, and their lowest score is 69.

Jeremy Cameron has only played two games for Geelong vs North Melbourne, kicking 7.3 and 4.3. Aidan Corr played in both of those games.

Aidan Corr has played for North Melbourne against Geelong three times, and we have lost those games by 60, 62 and 112.

We will not win this game, and anyone who thinks we will should log off the internet for a while.

Big W coming up on Sunday.

IDGAF whether we lost to Geelong 6 years ago.

Geelong barely beat the Saints at home. They barely beat the Bulldogs. And they beat Crows and Hawks. They're not some powerhouse.

We've got this.

Other than combens 8 games last year, it’s been a long time since we had two key forwards capable of taking marks inside 50.

CCJ fluked a few. We’ve tried Tom Campbell and goldy and even X. We used Josh ******* walker.

Im not saying that sellers is the answer but it’s exciting that we are trying a solution.
With respect to Walker, he would have been pulling down some of our best, most consistent contested marking numbers when he played, especially in defence.
