Really?

Wow, I just thought they were making them.

The whole joint is lacking fun.

I won’t beat the same drum from summer but you get what you get.

Boring threads.

Boring pages of coulda woulda shoulda and self/club pity parties full of hindsight Princes.

Embarrassed Shame GIF
There’s nothing left. We haven’t got Harley Reid. Turn the lights out when you leave.

The upside of a loss tomorrow...well there's multiple.....

1. We move closer to securing the number 1 draft pick.

2. There'll be a long overdue clean out of BF posters. The amount who are "giving up on AFL"

Soon it will just be a beautiful echo chamber of idealist NM supporters patting each other on the back about the process for the next 10 years.

Gameday now though - North by 3 goals. Let's go fellas we need some nourishment.

The sooner you realise that these fans who are “giving up” are real fans too, the better. I am one of these fans who is losing faith in the club. My status as a fan should never be questioned and we should not be forced to be positive about something that hasn’t been positive for a long time.

This is the club that I was brought up with, am immensely passionate about and will always make an excuse to my work to be able to attend the matches. This has since declined because I don’t see the value in getting all upset at watching loss after loss.

It’s not that we aren’t fans or that we have some kind of unbearable pessimism, we are just humans like the rest of the people on this board. People will process things differently to you and that’s ok.

The Eagles aren't a particularly young team.

Their best on tonight, other than Reid, were Yeo (30), Waterman (26), McGovern (32), Barrass (28), Darling (31), Kelly (29).
They still have another cliff to fall off
when their veterans retire.

McGovern will be a big loss for them.

as opposed to the thread embodiment of a welfare check red flag for the past however long

Reading the threads, I think we’ve reached the bargaining stage of our grief process now. If/when we lose to the Hawks, depression will, no doubt, set in. The good news is acceptance is just around the corner. After that, the sky’s the limit.

Surely the team get up for Souva’s 100th match today. Plus I had my Birthday during the week, and I need a late present from the team 😎

Happy birthday, and I hope you got some other nice things just in case.

I haven't seen anything since 2017 that shows me the club
1) knows how to rebuild &
2) has learnt from past list management mistakes

Only thing that's annoying with wardlaw is he hasn't played in a win yet... this weekend was he's chance really
Aged like a stinking pile of shit.... and I actually thought wardlaw might miss our on a win

Now the worry is we might miss out on wardlaw when he jumps ship for greener pastures.
