Wardlaws "break" has been coming for a while.
But all it says is the club knows they've got issues in the middle with 3 attacking minded players who cant play anywhere else on the ground.
bit harsh on George. He's an animal tackler. Agree on LDU and Powell though.

Yeh? Is there? I think thats rather disrespectful to lightweight hard footballers like Boomer in their day? How hard was boomer hit when he was a 70kg kid winning a EJ whitten medal? … have a spell son, would boomer go to hospital because he copped a whack? FMD i can name many many other lightweight players that aren’t soft. Im not going to but I can s**t all over that pick better than people shitting on Will Phillips at pick 3. Just tread carefully
Without knowing what happened it is hard to judge. Is very odd situation though, and hard not to think soft. Benefit of the doubt from me though.

What were your reservations with the pick? I didn't really want mxkercher or duursma tbh - but our picks didn't allow us not to take mckercher at least.

Im not willing to say any more. Ive said enough. I’ll give the kid a chance, actually i’ll give him years to prove it and really hope he is a gun player for us and plays 300, wins a normy. I didn’t like it And thats it

Could Wardlaw also play the small forward role? Mid/small forward?

Would hit the pack at speed, hard to tackle and create havoc.

Once he gets truly match fit and can up is minutes, I'd hope he could do something like this.
Been thinking about this.
LDU and Powell have been tried outside of the centre and were terrible.
LDU wasting away on a flank has only been bettered by Powell wasting away on a flank.
So if we do need to add strings to bows and flexibility then Georgey may be the one we can trial up front.

He is a ******* rake. He’s a drovers dog, all dick n bones. You think he’s a monster? LOL come on. He’d have a 28 inch waist
… which makes him a far bigger danger to you McKercher’s ribs. All elbows, knees and swinging dick. A monster would have just laid him out.

Archer, Greenwood and Wardlaw named as emergencies. Archer and Greenwood playing in the 2s, not Wardlaw. Is it odd that Wardlaw is game day emergency if he’s being managed?

Yeh being managed means he needs a rest, a week off. He’s the most intensive young player in the comp.

He's ok to play if we need him to, but they'd prefer he has a break. If he is a late inclusion, they could make him the sub.

All speculation, of course.

So the Hawks pulled Ramsden and CJ before the VFL game. Possible late change?
CJ hasn’t played any footy has he? Be a big call to throw a bloke with no footy under his belt into the AFL.

But saying that we are the perfect team to take that gamble on and he usually torches us.
