Kind of hard not to when the 3 seeds all sort of fell on their face last weekend and we beat one of those seeds.

And if he hadn't people would be complaining that he's being stubborn.

I would rather King admit he was wrong than do what Cornes is doing with Port and doubling down on making excuses for them.

I don't think Kane is too far off on Port. Said it feels worse than a normal season loss, but that Ken will be gone if they don't perform in Finals and they're currently in the top 8. Seems fair enough. Think there's an acceptance he's gone end of this season, unlike Beveridge at the Dogs who is just hanging around like a bad smell at this point.

Podcast starts off with a brief chat about the Sydney Mids and how their goal kicking impact is assisting us win.
THEN go to 43:00mins into the podcast for Sydney Derby talk. THEN
a little Toby Green Tom Papley talk about how neither are hitting the scoreboard like they were last year.

Brief chat about us on Access all Areas today mostly centered on Hayward - 15mins into the video

King's thoughts on the Swans there were pretty underwhelming. It's fine to talk about Heeney, Warner & Gulden but without guys like Rowbottom & Grundy those three wouldn't be half the players they've been this year. Without our defence (which was without McCartin - no mention of that), who knows if we even win on the weekend. Jordon's job on Whitfield? Hayward's performance? What about the way we won differently (clearances & contested work) to our usual defensive transition game?

Nope.

Always the icing, never the cake.

I know many of us want Swans chat in the media to hear and see more about how well our side is going, but I’m loving this. This is reminding me very strongly of 2005 and 2012. Basically no evidence of real belief from media outlets that we are genuinely in this flag race along with the favourites like Collingwood, Carlton, GWS and Melbourne (I’d wager if you polled the key footy talking heads, many of whom I enjoy hearing talk, few would pick us as their flag pick right now) and thereby, less chatter to interfere with the actual functioning of the club and side that allows them to get on with the job and contend.

We are placed very nicely.

yes, i agree entirely, i enjoy "flying under the radar", well, the "radar" of these self-important prats
but it's more a question of their credibility ... stop laughing!!!

Only the non-Victorian clubs can go under the radar while being first on the ladder.
