I quite like the IN's, however I really do think the Trew Inclusion last week was totally pointless.

What exactly is the bloke supposed to show in a quarter? What does dropping him the following week after 1 quarter of footy accomplish?

Sheed should've been sub last week, Trew should've had a full game to show his wares and THAT would have been a better body of evidence to gauge his selection this week.

Instead MC is amateur hour again.
This 100%.

At least the match committee was smart and selected a team suited to the likely slippery conditions…

Maric should be demoted to sub.

I want to see culley given a full game.

Culley is the only mid named on the bench so doubt he’ll be the sub

Expect the sub will be either Hutchinson or Maric. Probably the new guy

Good changes.

I don’t think Trew’s going to make it, but I don’t understand why we re-rookied him to not give him an opportunity.

Gaff playing I get, writing was on the wall with Sheed the tagger after Simmo was quietly pleased with his game, but overall I just don’t get why we wouldn’t gamble on a new rookie listed kid and hope for the best.

Unreasonable to expect more from Trew at WAFL level so he simply must just never figure in their plans.

Good changes overall, don’t even disagree with not playing him, just question the November decision making given what we’ve seen.

The reason trew doesn't get a run is the same reason he will end up delisted.
He's only really got one position in the team, with no flexibility and he's not even excellent at it.
He goes out because even though Sheed is poo, he can tag, play outside and go to the HHF.
Culley Can play inside, outside and Forward. (Maric type but with a inside game).
Clutch Hutch can play forward and along the f50 arc and has good aerial presence.

The day Trew gets more than half a bow to his game is the day he stops getting treated the way he does.
I argue he was gone last year until Dev pulled a uno reverse.

Just give him a couple of games to see what he's got. It's not like they're going to miss finals because he cost them 2 games is it?

If that's the case they should've delisted him last year and taken a SSP.

To keep him on, have him bash down the door with WAFL form, play him only as sub for a qtr and then immediately drop him (when we're missing 2 from his position) is pretty poor at best

So Trew is behind

Yeo, Kelly, Reid, Ginbey, Culley, Hewett, and Sheed for an inside midfield position not including Chesser, Petch, and sometimes Duggan who may rotate through there.

Prob need 5 to be unavailable before he gets a shot now, so seems pointless to keep him on the list. His lack of pace and versatility are the issue i guess.

“I quite like the Ins but I disagree with one of the outs therefore it’s amateur hour”.

Well it would be obvious to most that my referring to the MC as amateur hour would centre around Trew and the way they have managed his selection and demotion in consecutive weeks.

If you'd like to summarise that into a misquote for reasons known only to yourself, all power to ya :thumbsupemoji:

You do realise you are the amateur here, don't you?

Don’t understand why Trew was kept on the list.

They obviously don’t rate him. Maybe he was the only guy prepared to play for peanuts and no future.

They could have kept Winder on but he would be getting the same treatment as Trew.

I don’t know why SPS was delisted. He was clearly an AFL level footballer but perhaps he didn’t want to be demoted to the rookie list and have his pay cut by 200%. Perhaps he had a too honest conversation with Simpson or some other wheeler and dealer. It would be interesting to know.
