Even if Lynch does get up, our match ups here are very good.

Meek (if fit and available) should be able to negate a lot of what Nank does well (overall we lose this matchup, but not by a lot)
Nash on Taranto
Hardwick on Dusty (with Scrimshaw supporting)
Frosty on an underdone Lynch
Moore on Rioli
Dear on Vlaustin
Impey (in defence) and Worpel (in midfield) on Baker
Ginnivan on Short

I'd be tempted to play Weddle forward on Balta as well.

If we play with 80% of the intensity of the past month, this should be fine - though obviously I'd prefer 100% effort leading into a well earned bye round rest.

Even if that is the case, he is a proven big game performer. We should be concerned that him playing in front of 85k+ could conceivably draw out his best footy. And even if it doesn't do anything for him personally, his teammates should still be pretty pumped up for the occasion and will draw energy from a big Richmond crowd.
Which is why we kick 10 in the first and send them home early. Nice % booster

Members who take the 'Home and Away' option mate.

Gives entry to ALL hawthorn games played in Melbourne.

I bought it to avoid exactly this situation tbh.

I've already paid, I don't see why I should pony up another $14.50 per ticket for me and my partner.
This has been happens for decades. Tickets have been on sale for months. There was GA available last week. You were too slow. GA is sold out. Perhaps get your tickets now for other Hawks games v Blues or Pies.

Home and Away option means you pay upfront regardless of whether you go or not.

You don't purchase game by game - I have already paid for access to ALL Hawthorn games in Melbourne.

Seems a few don't understand this.

I think you don't understand that its not the club that is doing this but the AFL. This is a replacement game for us. Whenever there is a large demand for tickets this will happen. It is not exclusive to Hawthorn. Every club is affected.

Yes you do have access to general admission but it also states you may need to purchase a seat. If you are legends or lethal the seat cost is included so zero cost. If you are other categories you need to get seat earlier to avoid this issue. Bummer but way it now works!

I know, but it doesn't mean that its right.

I buy a membership to financially support the club, so that won't change, but I doubt if I'll pony up for the H&A option again.

Fair enough, no way the club could conceivably plan for it being Dusty's 300th, and if they knew that they would've chosen a different replacement game and then everyone would say why didn't they choose the Richmond game. Can't please everyone.

We understand. With the Hawks on the rise and crowds growing, you need to be better informed. You simply enter your barcode and you can claim a GA ticket for free, or, like me, pay $13 extra for a designated seat. As is has been for decades.

Not to say it's like for like, but if we played Buddy, Rough, Gunston and Hale circa 2012/13, why can't we play Lewis, Dear, Gunston and Chol in the same side?
Because we also have Moore, Macdonald, Ginnivan and Hardwick up forward with Breust as sub

Moore and Chol are back and forth from the midfield; Hardwick in the backline half the time: while we have an interchange bench of 4 and med sub. We can fit them all in.

I see Mackenzie having a spell this week. Hasn't done much wrong but I did notice some of our fast breaks were turned over from his slow decision making and also turned it over 2 or 3 times by foot with no pressure.
Have a feeling Wizard comes in for him, and Meek in for Reeves.
