For all the talk of Port people being fickle bandwagoners, there have now been 16 seasons with a higher average home crowd than the 2004 premiership season, with 11 lower — and two of those were COVID-affected.

Fair to say AO crowds shouldn't be compared to FP but north of 40k last year was better than I expected.

Especially given we're 10 years into watching reruns.

That said, I still believe the club has given up 10-20% in revenues due to supporters protesting over the inability to make the required moves in the coaching box.
