Melbourne is set to swap pick 28, 40 and a future first in exchange for Essendon’s pick 9. That would mean the Dees take 5 and 9 into this year’s draft. Potentially huge implications for us.

If they take 5 and 9 into the draft then you’d think they potentially go a mid (e.g. Smillie/Langford) followed by a tall forward, such as Armstrong/Shanahan. If they intend to use both picks to trade up and get the best mid possible then we are the obvious club they’ll target to facilitate a trade of picks.

Pick 2 for 5 and 9 would suit us perfectly; however, they might want something back the other way like our 25 (or a future second). What do we think about these possibilities?

If we trade 25 for Caleb and Hannaford is still there at 25 - you can pretty much bookmark he’ll play is and run straight past ,through and over Daniels when we play them.
I'd think we'd give up a F2 or F3 before we go anywhere near pick 25 based on not diluting our draft hand comments.

Has he done enough for another shot roos_fanatic08 Souup ?

Always thought he was a tad unlucky

"Former West Coast forward Isiah Winder has promised he will never take his football career for granted again and declared he is ready to return to the AFL if a club is prepared to give him the chance.

Winder’s hopes of getting an AFL lifeline rose when he received a late call-up to Sunday’s Draft Combine testing in front of club recruiters. The 22-year-old spent the season playing for South Fremantle after being delisted by West Coast and won the club’s best-and-fairest."

I haven't seen much of his games this year, I was a big fan of him as a rookie in his draft year. He hardly fired a shot at West Coast and wasn't really commited with his training standards and effort off the field.

No doubt he has plenty of talent, but you'd have to be certain he has matured before giving him another crack.
