wtf, that would be outrageous overs from North…pick 2 and probably another top 5 pick next year for 6 and 11, can’t be right. I think someone is making shit up

Next year's draft is considered considerably worse than this year's though. But I agree

I’ll be staggered if we trade back.

The rumour is that Richmond are reluctant to do 6 and 11 for 2 AND f1 from north (seems like they want 2 without giving 6), they’d laugh us out of the room if we offered that

By most people’s reckoning we got a pretty great deal to get 3, we’re not getting the same value to give it back up
There's no way North will go further down than 6/7. And that's a very good deal for Richmond. But if they want to keep 6, then it's either North deal with a 3rd party (Melb/StK prob) or a 3rd party gets involved (or it doesn't happen!!)

3rd party deal might be something like - Richmond get 2, North get 5+, Melb get 10+

The top end is generally always good, which is where that pick will be

If Norf did that trade they’re complete imbeciles fully in the realm of imbecilic decisions Gold Coast do regularly

If North want a second early pick in this years super-draft they unfortunately have to pay overs. I know it seems a crazy good for the Tigers, but they hold (virtually) all the cards. The Tigers dont have to do any deals and will still clean up this draft. So if it was us with the Tigers draft hand, I'd be not budging unless it was very favourable to us also

Jagga slipping to the Saints at Pick 8 is a nightmare scenario

I know where not going to trade pick 3 if we did for 6 and 18 smith and berry would be very good outcome

I'd bid on both Ashcroft )unless there is a possible deal to improve pick 38) and Lombard

I agree that they shouldn’t and I certainly wouldn’t.

The rumour is that Richmond won’t put 6 on the table. Seems like draft picks next year are being valued pretty low.

I’ve said in other threads there’s no way I do that deal as north, but the market isn’t in their favour

that's just make believe....

Drapers decision making is an issue. All the draftees have there weaknesses and with Draper it’s clear in the YouTube clips that by hand he takes poor options sometimes. Either that or he doesn’t handball to advantage of the receiver. His handballs can result in the ball being turned over.

While Draper is far more powerful than say jagga, jagga decision making is far better.
