He seems to have no interest in footy any more, and it's safe to assume that most of his listeners found his podcast because they wanted to hear footy-related interviews.
I happened to see it soon after he posted it, took me all of 1 minute to find the address.
The suburb is on the up. Cannot get cheap property around there any more. Really convenient location.
I live near enough to Goodiesons. I was driving past the other day and dropped in to see what they had. Walked out with a 6 pack of their Imperial Pilsner. Big, malty, slightly hopped-up pilsner - 7.8%.
I have a bottle of their shiraz barrel aged stout, but it's probably getting a bit warm to...
Coconut seems to be popular in beers at the moment. Can't say I particularly enjoy it. Very novelty ingredient.
Right now I'm drinking Mayday Hills "Thursday". Mayday Hills is Bridge Road's "farmhouse" project. This one is a Brettanomyces dark ale with gin botanicals. I'm really impressed. Nice...
The Andy Otten of old, maybe. There's not a lot between them IMO. Cheney is more of a known quantity than a guy who hasn't played a game in 900-odd days
Went to my favourite beer shop in Adelaide today and they had Rust Bucket, Why So Cereal? and Dog's Bollocks in stock. Had the Dog's Bollocks this arvo, so smooth!
Drinking Big Shed/Dr's Orders collab "Dr Shedlove 2016" right now. It's a Belgian imperial yam & taro stout. It is f-ing amazing...
I don't think they have any intentions of bottling. The whole reason they set up in Adelaide (other than the fairly open market here) was because they wanted to keep freight costs down. Part of this strategy involved packaging all of their beer in cans, as cans are a shitload lighter, therefore...
Check out Pirate Life's beers if you haven't already. One of the co-founders used to work at Little Creatures, and both of them did stints at Brewdog. They're both Perth boys but they established their brewery in Adelaide for logistical reasons. They are churning out some of the greatest beer in...
That shouldn't happen. I've had it happen with quite a few Lord Nelson beers and I refuse to buy them now for that reason, but it's not something that occurs very often for me, and I try a LOT of different beers.
LC IPA is their best beer now. I agree, the Pale Ale isn't what it once was. I'm not sure if it's just my tastes evolving though.
I still enjoy Mountain Goat, in particular the Summer Ale and Fancy Pants. Not a big fan of Hightail or Steam. Their "Rare Breed" limited release beers are always...
It's for sale now, so I'm not sure what the future holds for them. If you have a spare 3 million it can be yours. I think the new owner should rebrand it, TBH. The beer has fallen way back in the pack when it comes to craft beer. They need a good brewer to take it in a more modern direction...
