    Preview Round 5, 2021: Hawthorn v Melbourne MCG 3.20pm Sun 18th April

Personally i think we have given Nash enough changes and quite frankly i don't think he is AFL standard. Hopefully he proves me wrong. 2 Ruckman has not worked and Ceglar hardly provides any impact, so glad we have omitted him . Still think Cousins is stiff ... but surely will get his...

    Preview Round 4, 2021: Fremantle v Hawthorn, 11 April 2021, 4.40pm AEST @ Optus Stadium

I'm not a big fan of 2 rucks . Cegs is too slow and not really providing any impact . Although TOB can be frustrating i think he is better proposition. Greaves foot skills is better then Howe, so i would persevere with him rather then Howe .. This seems like a fitting game to manage Burgers...

Autopsy Round 20: Hawks defeated by Roos

    - Not enough depth in the midfield . Great performances from Worpel and Wingard - We need more run from the backline ( Impey is a big loss ) . - Nash enough experimenting .. he is not up to it - Poppy - cooked Would like to see the likes of Cousins, Miles , Walker...

    Preview Roughead Returns - Round 14, 2019: Sydney v Hawthorn, 21 June 2019, 7:50pm AEST @ SCG

Would have expected Glass for Morrison.. Cousins although a bit down last week provides some midfield depth which where lacking..

    Preview Round 2, 2019: Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs, 31 March 3:20pm AEDT @ MCG

Moore Lewis Brand Mirra to be left out . Mirra unfortunate , but Bulldogs don't have a tall forward line .

    Preview 2018 1st Semi Final: Hawthorn v Melbourne, 14 September 2018, 7.50pm @ MCG

Surprised we didn't change a midfielder for a midfielder .. we are light on midfielder..surely Cousins is coming in for either Nash /Duryea

    Preview 2018 1st Semi Final: Hawthorn v Melbourne, 14 September 2018, 7.50pm @ MCG

Seems like from all the media outlets Melbourne have a bye prior to Prelim with West Coast ..

    Preview 2018 1st Semi Final: Hawthorn v Melbourne, 14 September 2018, 7.50pm @ MCG

Will be disappointed if Duryea comes in . Still unsure why Miles has been overlooked . I suspect Mirra for Stratton .. and Schoe for either Ceglar / Nash .

    Preview 2018 1st Qualifying Final: Richmond v Hawthorn, 6 September 2018, 7.20pm @ MCG

I suspect if weather forecast is correct , there will be a late change . Howe in for Schoe.. Surely to top heavy if there is rain tommorow afternoon/night.

    Preview 2018 1st Qualifying Final: Richmond v Hawthorn, 6 September 2018, 7.20pm @ MCG

in: Sicily, Frawley Out; Mirra, Brand Ceglar close, maybe conditions will depend if picked. Only concern is forward line will be not mobile enough with Ceglar at FF . Although tempted, Birchall to play full game BH if available, and come in to the team the following game .

Preview Hawks v Swans for top 4 Round 23 2018

In: Rough, Ceglar, Henderson Out: Shoenmakers, Pittonet, Glass Although we have not lost with Schoe in the team ( 7-0) , i just feel he does not contribute enough . Would also like to see how Nash works with Roughie in the forward line . Hopefully Frawley can get up . Either way , team...

    Preview Round 17, 2018: Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions, 14 July 2018, 1.45pm @ York Park

I think WX will be serviceable ...not too fussed about the selection. O'Brien .. well i still don;t understand how is getting promoted to the AFL , when his form in VFL is poor . Expect him to touch it around only 6 times , and have no influence on the game !!
  19. B

    Preview Round 11, 2018: Hawthorn v Port Adelaide, 2 June 2018, 2.10pm @ UTas Stadium

FFS .. why OBrien ? . He was given a good run in the start of season and went missing . his VFL form does not warrant his inclusion . Possibly to play in defence ..because he wont mark or compete at AFL level as a forward.

Preview Hawks v Lions changes and preview

In: Brand, O'Rourke, Schoenemakers Out: Frawley, Langford, O'Brien Frawley - Cooked .. need to play Brand Langford - Poor disposal and bad decision making .. not up to AFL standard. O'Brien - Cannot mark, and goes missing in games ..enough chances provided .. needs time in VFL. Schoe ...

Preview Round 6, 2018: Hawthorn v St Kilda - unleash the Worp (confirmed)!

My thoughts : - TOB really lucky to hold his position . Offers very little . Think Schoe is a better option structurally . - Surprised with Langers inclusion . Considering O'Rourke's game for BH i would have thought he would have got the nod. - Great to see Burgers back . Considering how...

    Preview Round 15, 2017: Hawthorn v Collingwood, 2 July 2017, 3.20pm @ MCG

Wonder who will go forward for Pop . Probably think Blake Hardwick is the obvious choice, though l do like him in defence .
  23. B

    Preview Round 10 2017: Hawthorn vs Sydney, Friday 26th May 7:50pm @SCG

Both Cousins and Willsmore have been in the bests for weeks in BH, so it is good to see how they handle themselves going one step up. Happy for Brand coming in as well . Would have preferred Heatherly to stay as he is our future, but Clarko has proven he is not going to drop Gibbo , even...

    Preview Round 9 2017: Collingwood v Hawthorn, 20th May 2017, 7:25pm @MCG

Not surprised with the ins .. Brand -> Frawley Duryea -> Stratton Vickery -> Fitzy Whitecross -> Cyril Team structure seems unbalanced with WhiteX for Cyril . I guess we may play Burton forward and Whitex in defence, hence why i would have preferred Stewart in instead of Doc.
  25. B

    Preview Round 7, 2017: Melbourne v Hawthorn, 7 May 2017, 3.20pm @ MCG

Very disappointed with the omission of Brand. This year Brand has performed better then both Frawley and Gibson. I just don;t understand Clarko's logic. Surely if we cop another belting, then the likes of Stewart, Brand. Heatherly, Wilsmore must be given a 6-8 game run to see if they cut it...

    Preview Round 5, 2017: Hawthorn v West Coast Eagles , 23 April 2017, 4.40pm @ MCG

Disappointed that Stewart was overlooked, hopefully he is a late in . Personally i think TOB does not cut it at this level, and not sure how many more opportunities he will have . Surely Willsmore will be given his opportunity soon if we continue to struggle .

    Preview 2nd qualifying final 2016: Geelong v Hawthorn, 9 September 2016, 7.50pm @ MCG

Out: Hartung, Pittonet, Sicily In: Langford, McEvoy, Stratton Being wet, i thing Langers is better suited then Hartung , who has not yet shown enough when the heat is really on. Sicily slightly stiff as well, but once the ball hits the ground seems to struggle.

Review Round 12, 2016: Port Melbourne v Box Hill Hawks, 25 June 2016, 2.00pm @ North Port Oval

I saw Langford in emergency at Epworth tonight, so definately something not right with him .

    Preview Semi-Final: Hawthorn v Adelaide Crows, MCG, 18 September 2015 @ 7.50pm

Need to omit either Frawley / Lake as playing one forward does not work . Need more speed around the ground as well, Though knowing Clarko he will only make 1 -2 changes . Suckling - weak player under pressure and is a liability in defence Hale - give him a week break , so we can have a look...
